Benjamin V. was my appliance repair person, and he was terrible. This guy ripped my dryer hose moving my dryer without disconnecting it. He didn't tell me that he had done so either, I noticed it and alerted him. He did not apologize, just said he could tape it up for me. He then attempted to use electrical tape to, I kid you not, tie a knot around the hose to fix it? When that didnt work he moved the dryer back against the wall and acted like it was fixed. I looked at it before he left and the knot he tied around it didn't connect the two hoses at all. Told him and he just said he didnt have what he would need to fix it. Like that un-rips the hose. Then when I asked for his supervisors phone number he told me he didnt have one. I dont expect stellar customer service all the time, as long as my issues are fixed I can handle a little bit of an attitude. But you can't break my stuff AND be rude. Worst 1000 dollars for 2 simple repairs I ever spent. Will not be giving Sears my business in the future, would not recommend anyone else do so either. To add insult to damaged property, they leave a comment under each bad review to a phone number that does not have an option to even begin to resolve the issue, and a website that also has no valid way to contact anyone who could resolve the issue. And I've been thorough. You do not have the chance to make it right Sears. Stop pretending like you did.

We had a Frigidaire refrigerator stop cooling properly 8 months after purchasing it from Home Depot. Going to the Frigidaire website, it guides you to set up an appointment with Sears Home Services. Scheduling an appointment was pretty easy. On the first scheduled appointment, the technician did arrive and did a good job diagnosing the problem, which was a faulty compressor. He ordered the part, which arrived promptly at our house a few days later. The appointment was set for Sears Home Services to install it. When you set an appointment, they tell you that they will arrive between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on that day. A little before noon on the day they were supposed to install it, I received an artificial intelligence text message that said that they weren't going to be able to make it for the install. The text message gave me four specific dates to pick for a replacement install date. The dates were about a week and a half away. Frustrating because I had to cancel my plans for the day, but I set up the replacement date for the install. Today was the day. Received another text message a little before noon, saying that they weren't going to be able to make it. Again, four alternate dates to get the install done, about a week and a half away. I guess we will see what happens on that date. They make it impossible to actually talk to someone. If they had real customer service people to talk to, maybe they would just bump another a customer a day or two to make sure to get me taken care of. Without real customer service, it's really frustrating to know when, or if, they will ever get my compressor installed.

Never use this service! Nothing to do with Sears! Can't resolve any issues due to no way to communicate with anyone after hours of attempts I was assured I would receive a call from a representative. Still waiting! So much for being escalated! Technician was less than desirable. He was rude and became loud when I told him that I was quoted different amount than what he was asking for with no services performed! Outrageous!
