I wasn't personally there during the service visit, but was able to talk to Robert on the phone. I'm giving 4 stars vs 5 because nothing was repaired. His diagnosis was that the freezer drawer was probably left open and this is what caused the ice buildup inside the freezer. I will update my review to 5 stars if his diagnosis is correct and I have no more issues with ice buildup. This was a service call under warranty. Thank you!

Technician was nice, gave me a good phone call for heads up on when he might show up. Considering the company gave me a window of 7 AM to 6 PM which encase you can't do math that's an 11 hour window, however, he was not an install Tech. They do not have an install tech in this area, so he was just a repair technician, he found that the unit needed to be completely replaced, so he was not able to do anything, but the technician was courteous. Informative and give me a little more heads up on When he would show, so I appreciated that.

Paid $119 for a repair man to come out and say the hose was leaking from inside fridge and he couldn’t fix it. 10 min I need this kind of job.

Didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I had to tell him how to make it get certain failure codes. When he got everything back in place he found a part laying on the floor and had to take it apart again. Then we he got things back together. I had to show him that it needed line up better under the cabinet.

The technician made a terrible mess that took me 2 hours to clean up! And, he did NOT fix my problem. Will never call them again!

Parents bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot (who is also refusing to offer a solution or result) 2 days before Thanksgiving, the freezer stopped working before Easter, it’s been over 3 weeks since the top portion/refridgerated part has worked. My parents are taking off work to be home for a Sears repairman to come, the first repair man was completely unprofessional and was on the phone the entire time complaining about having to take the back panel back off after he had already put it back on, wait a week for the part to come in, 4 days later another repair man shows up and puts it on, it doesn’t work, 2 weeks later, they offer a “virtual visit” That is also useless/ no result or resolution, and now they’re saying it’ll be another 2 weeks before someone can come out to fix “what sounds like the main control board to me. “ Over $2000 wasted, going on 3 months now without a refrigerator in 2026. Blows my mind how everyone wants to pass the blame instead of provide any kind of service. 0/10 would recommend
