The Sears Team were very organized and professional. The repair options were in a fantastic online presentation with concise information to inform my decision. The work area was cleaned to my satisfaction. This is a quality organization with good staffing.

Getting them to keep an appointment was extremely difficult with no way to speak to a real person. Their AI process is unacceptable! The kept stating that the part was not shipped but I had it in my hands for 3 days and relayed to them multiple ways. The turn around time was not worth the problems they gave me. The tech was ok but the non communication and not caring for the customer was unacceptable. Avoid them.

My unit is still not cooling

The only not so good thing is the time frame they give you. 8-5 feels like you a prisoner all day. But the technician knew what he was doing. Everything is up and running. Makes for a good day. Edit: December 12th today and this is the 3rd time back for the same problem. Hoping this gets fixed soon, I happen to be off today but the time frame for them is 8-5. Not very convenient for the person that has to be there. I guess 3 strikes and your out if it's not fixed today.

If I could give less than 5 stars I would. The process to fix our fridge took 6 weeks and I still have not been reimbursed for parts that were not needed when ordered by the first tech who diagnosed the fridge. Sears Home Services customer service is pretty non-existent. You can talk with “AI Samantha” who was not helpful at all.

The GE frig repair technicians were fine. They did a great job. HOWEVER, the Sears AI driven scheduling system is a complete DISASTER. I will NOT use Sears again. Sears has leaned too far into AI and needs live agents (other than a laborious CHAT) to help when AI falls flat. My schedule repair was delayed a week when AI said "parts are not there"-- the parts were here. And attempting to get an agent to actually assist further led to frustration and delay. The repair was set to occur was set to occur 1/16/26 1-5 PM. When I asked by CHAT (finally for through) it reset for 8-12 that day-- it was already 0900 AM !! No one showed up and could not contact any one on status. I wasted hours waiting. Had to set another AI online date later into the following week. This entire process was extremely frustrating !!!

They never came or called to say they couldn’t come

Had an appointment, time got pushed back 3 hrs out of original window, and then never showed. There is no way to reach a live human to talk through about this.

Sears Appliance Home Repair is 100% a scam. DO NOT GO WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. I had to use them because of my Lowe's warranty so thankfully I didn't have to pay. I have had numerous appointment cancellations with no reasons or heads up whatsoever. When they do come out, the tech was fine. However, it has taken about 5 different reschedules to get to this point. As of today, I have been waiting a month and a half to get my dishwasher fixed and I still have no idea if it will happen. You also cannot get in touch with a human no matter what you try. Even Lowes themself cannot get in touch. Its literally impossible. 100% pure garbage. Avoid like the plague. This place should be shut down immediately.
