Service today
Technician was professional and friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with the results. The call center, if it had its own rating, I would have given two stars. The inability to contact the technician directly needs to be addressed. My street was closed today by the city of wichita, and I was unable to let the technicians know ahead of time. Also, when the automated system tells you that someone is coming out , it is vastly different from when they actually show up. Also, leaving an entire day , 8-5, open tone aha home and meet someone is unrealistic and makes for bad customer service. At least narrowing it down to a 2 to 4 hour window that is absolute and you know won't change, will make all the difference for those of us who have jobs . Trying to schedule through this system is extremely difficult and one of the main reasons I will not renew my home warranty.

THOR 30" oven
No complaints on A&E, but what a terrible thermostat THOR placed in these ovens. We've owned the product for about 19 months and it is on its 4th thermostat. None will control at setpoint, all have temperature swings plus or minus 100F from whatever setpoint they select.

Be prepared to wait all day long as you will not get a appt
Repair man was professional but the process of getting my ice maker repaired was terrible. I had an appointment last week, between 8& 5, and Noone came, no texts, no emails, no explanation. Waited all day long for nothing. I had to call the next day to reschedule. Wasted an entire day waiting.

I have no idea how he was. Our appointment was supposed to be between nine and five. I got a voice message that said it was 8:45 and that the technician would be there in five minutes. I arrived at 8:52 and waited for six hours in my truck outside the home with no way to reach sears. The resident came home around 2:00 so I left. Later, I found the voicemail and tried to call the technician, but no answer. Apparently the technician was able to get into the home via the tenant. The technician later returned my text and said the refrigerator was fixed. It was extremely frustrating not being able to get a hold of Sears. There was no option to speak with a human. 6 hours of my day was stolen from me today.

Insurance worked
Maso was very courtesy, and the system was finally repaired after two weeks down. The area to improve is the troubleshooting that was not accurate, requiring to order two parts with each lead time.

Didn't work
Came at the last second of the time slot 5p and we both needed to be somewhere at 6... So he rushed through and it was weird. He left and then called me after to sign stuff... And the ice maker he came to fix still doesn't work.

Aaron provided excellent service, we verified service and new part operation. But faulty part seemed to be legacy with refrigerator because 5 minutes after technician left. The new part quit functioning, while making it more difficult. Tried calling AE company for a return visit but was never able to get thru, so had to call AHS to obtain technician revisit. Still pending.

No personal calls please
While repairing my fridge, tech was on the phone, speaker, talking to a buddy regarding personal issues. Yes, it was repaired but time and place for that stuff and it ain't during my repair. Again it was fixed
