Lied and tried to leave the house without finishing the job

This was for a washing machine repair. The AI scheduling is absolutely terrible. In addition, by the time I finally got the repair done, the technicians who came tried to leave the house without putting things back the way they found them. My washer and dryer are stacked together. My sister was here at my house for the repair. They told her that my dryer hadn't been hooked up and they wouldn't be hooking it up for me and they left the house. She questioned them about it, but they insisted it had not been connected when they got here. That was an absolute lie. The dryer was fine and I had been using it the night before. Furthermore, I had plumbing work done a few months ago where the dryer and washer stack had to be removed, and the plumbers were able to put everything back without an issue. These people are appliance repairmen for crying out loud! She flagged them down, and they came back and repaired it which is why this is not a one star review. They were surly and rude about it. This was insult to injury, as I already had a very unsatisfactory experience with Sears in general. I will avoid buying Kenmore products in the future, because I never want to have to use Sears Home services ever again. This brand deserves to go out of business entirely.

The part that was repalced, doesnt burn inside the ring lines its off , so either the part is off or the placement is off.. and the knobs that turn on the area is hot.. so i think there is a recall on this

what does this mean

Got a quote in december.had tech order the part paid him the quote paid him for the part.Got the part next day. he shows up and says where is the other part. you ordered it this is what i got I told him Didnt work he had to come back a3rd timeNow it works fine. /Now 2 months later i get a bill for 329.00 your website says all work nas to be paid for as soon as job is done. thats what we did the first day. if we agteed to the quote there was no charge for estimate

Charged too much

I was charged over $400 for labor cost in which my technician was only here 20 minutes. No parts included. I was not informed of the cost until the bill he concluded his work. Pretty pricey. Sears manager promised to call me and did not happen. Can Sears help me???

Failed to put oven back in place

Called sears - the stove was pulled out from the wall by the service man. I was told someone would return today to push it back into place as my husband has had back surgery and can't lift. No one called back or returned.

LG washer service

If Sears is going to advertise the LG authorized service provider then they should honor the manufacturers warranty. Very disappointed that my machine has a 10 year warranty and they tried to charge me almost $900 for a new motor, that is still under manufacturers warranty. As a senior leader of a company that has way too many ASA agreements with manufacturers, we not only honor the manufacturers warranty, but file for the warranty issues. So this disappointment cost me the service call fee, and will never use Sears again. As a final thought, when I asked the repairman about the ASA warranty, and explained how it should work, he was very clear on the fact that Sears doesn't do this, and only honor their own warranty.

HELP

Washer still doesn't work. Same thing happened 6th repairman showed up replaced a part that didn't need replaced. Didn't stay for the full cycle, washer stopped at the spin - again. We keep getting the uL response as usual. Obviously the problem is deeper than some part they keep replacing - its the brains of the machine, but no one listens or makes the effort to figure out the real problem. Very disappointed, will probably post on yelp to not use this service.

Water softener service

The technician came in, looked briefly at our water softener that was holding water and not working and said he would have to throw $700 in parts at it. He told us just to buy a new unit. After he left, I cleaned the drain hose, pushed the recharge button and it works fine. Your technician did not provide a bit of service. He never even attempted to work on the unit. I would like to be reimbursed for my $125 service charge as he did nothing but tell me to buy a new unit. Very disappointed.
