I would like to rank Thomas as a 2 1/2 and the reason is I felt that he talked to with me abruptly .Example The tone that he used to ask me to take the clothes out of the dryer, I stated that I didn’t get a telephone call from him to tell me to give me a heads up that he was coming. His reply was a email was sent.. I have dealt with Sears the last 32 years and they have always called me before coming out.Sure, there’s was an email sent out, but I didn’t have my computer on at the time .He asked me what was my complaint was about the dryer . I stated I did not have a complaint but I had a concern .He then stated that a concern and a complaint are the same thing .Before he left he did tone down but I pay for service, not attitude.

Had an appointment scheduled for 1p-5p, got a call from an AI assistant telling me that the technician was "ahead of schedule" and that "they'd be there around 4p - 6p." I then received a text around 5:30p from an AI assisstant telling me that "per your request, we've rescheduled your appointment to a different date." I never received a text or call to reschedule my appointment. They rescheduled on a date where no one would be home. I started to look for a phone number to talk to someone about this, but all phone numbers just connected me to an AI assistant telling me information about my appointment. I will be looking for someone else in town to repair my dryer. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Scheduling through the website was frustrating- there was no way to contact a service rep directly when we ran into issues. We were basically stood up twice by technicians. The first time they said they Came by but did not call us and left before we could let them in. The second time we made certain to be available and watching the door From 1230-530 for the full 1-5 appt period. No one came and the automated system rescheduled us for the next day without any explanation why. Recommend booking with another local company that offers real time customer support to avoid frustrating issues like these.

BEWARE - This company is a SCAM!!! You cannot speak to a person as they are all virtual agents. They sent a technician to diagnose the issue and he ordered the part on Amazon and had it delivered to our home. He was scheduled to come back and install the part but never showed up on his scheduled day or time. We waited all day and never received a call to reschedule however they charged our credit card for the full amount of the repair. I have tried to call and speak to someone and its impossible.

The price to repair my washing machine was the same as a brand new washer from any appliance store; way, way overpriced for the service, plus I’m out of diagnostic fee of $150

We will not be calling sears anymore for service if we absolutely don’t have to. Has nothing to do with anyone that came and serviced us, it was about the price. I was going to be charged $850 to have a simple igniter replaced for our gas range. I checked around town and another appliance service shop only charged us $200. Who gets away with charging that much for a simple service? Something in my gut didn’t feel right because I looked it up online and I could get the part for $50. We just don’t want to mess with the gas and don’t have a lot of knowledge with appliances otherwise we would do it ourselves. I also had to pay $140 for them to come diagnose the problem when other places around Lawrence only charge about $75. Then on top of it they were trying to sell some stupid appliance warranty service. It was ridiculous. Give me my $140 back sears!

Service repairman tried his best to figure out what was wrong with my dishwasher. Please, please get rid of the AI!!! I needed to talk to higher level technician, an actual human being, about the issue with my dishwasher when I called!!! So, after 5 weeks and 4 visits, I still have a half functioning dishwasher. GET RID OF THE AI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I original rated him 5star BUT I just realized when I went to use my tools which HE USED and he took my pair if pliers and screwdriver with him. I specifically brought them with me to use today and i had them in the kitchen next to the dishwasher. I know he used them because he used the pliers to loosen a nut and then he asked me to hold the screwdriver for him while he used my hammer. I want to have “credit and or my tools returned”, If he had used his own tools this wouldn’t have happened. AND I EXPECT A RESPONSE TO MY MESSAGE!!! This is theft not an accidental mistake……
