I would like to award the technician the postnominal initials of RD. His thesis on the "Vagaries of Stream Flow Patterns in Ice Makers as a Result of Calcium Deposits" proved to be exactly correct. Since his visit, there have been no drips or leaks from the dispenser. His professionalism and experience saved me from the delays of swapping for parts, and LG from the expense. My repairman was excellent. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it as well as give me some tips on how to efficiently operate my washer. He was patient and courteous!!
