He did re-install the unit. The insulation was sticking out so the door wouldn't shut and told my wife he's not allowed to put the screws back in.
Customer service response - I apologize for the inconvenience and confusion during your service; that's not the level of workmanship we stand for. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

UPDATE. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had nothing but problems. I have a warranty service through Assurant for my washer and dryer and they schedule Sears home service for my repairs. I scheduled the first appointment to have my washer fixed because it was making a loud grinding noise when it was washing. (I could still use it though, it still went through every cycle and operated like it should). It took weeks to finally get a technician to my house. The technician said he did not see anything wrong with it but he changed the belt on it and to call if it kept making the noise. After he left, I ran a small load to see if it still made the noise and it did. So I had to schedule another appointment. Again, it took weeks to get a technician out to my house to look at it. This time, the technician said there was a list of things he had to order and that he would be back the following Monday to put the parts on. The following Monday came and he actually did show up to put the parts on. After he left, I started a small load of laundry. Now, the washer is no longer making the loud grinding noise, but now it is not spinning and the clothes are sopping wet and I have to ring them out by hand. I still have to run it through the dryer at least two times to get them dry. So, I scheduled another appointment. I waited around all day for the technician to show up. He did not show up, but put in the system that he did and that no one was home. (I have cameras at my house to prove that he did not show up). We rescheduled the appointment for today (April 30), just for customer service to tell me that the appointment was not confirmed and that the technician does not have availability today and that it needs to be rescheduled again. Even though I have the text messages to prove that the appointment was indeed confirmed! I have been trying to get my washer fixed since February and here it is almost May and it is worse now than what it was when we started and no one seems to want to fix it! They just keep saying it is a priority and that this is not their normal service.
Customer service response - We apologize for the trouble you've faced, Tessyann. This is not the experience we want for our customers. Please contact us at searshomeservices.com or call 1-800-469-4663 so we can assist you further. Thank you for your patience.
