I need to clarify that I would give the technician 5 stars. I would not give the Sears customer service/scheduling any stars. I had 4 appointments over a month and my refrigerator still isn’t functioning.

Pedro was great and did everything that he could to help with my repair. What wasn’t great was the scheduling/customer service system that Sears has in place. I had 4 scheduled appointments over a month and my refrigerator is still not repaired. Sears did not communicate with their employees or send technicians with proper tools and replacement parts.

The same tech came out twice, the first time my heat worked for 5 hours then went back out. The second time he came out, it worked for one day then went back out.

I made an apt for Thursday. The tech came and checked some stuff and was at my house less than an hour. He said the compressor turned on and that it should start cooling and he left. When he left we checked it and the compressor wasn’t on. It still wasn’t getting cold. So I made another apt for Friday. They informed me Friday that I made a regular apt and not a recall apt so I would have to pay fees all over again unless I cancelled that apt and changed it to a recall apt. Unsure why they couldn’t just change it. So then they didn’t have an apt until Monday. He was supposed to come between 8-12. I got a message saying we were the next stop and he would arrive at 915. He never showed. Getting in contact with someone is a major headache. No number I called had a person to talk to and on the automated system there was no choice for the tech not showing up. I finally got in contact with someone around 3. He told me to give them an hour and they would update. Here it is 8. Haven’t heard a thing and the office is closed now and after already going all weekend with 5 kids without a refrigerator I have to wait longer. And I took today off work to wait for the tech and they never showed.

Michael didn't fix the issue or even contact the home warranty company. He said he would contact them to see how to proceed and never came back. Developed a heat rash because my AC never got fixed waiting on them. The phone number only returns an automated service

Your customer service is terrible! You are trying, unsuccessfully, to manage customer service with artificial intelligence. I had an appointment, for dryer repair, on August 1st. Technician didn't show. Received a text message & email indicating that the appointment had been rescheduled for August 15th. I cancelled that appointment on August 2nd. Your AI continued to send texts & emails about the August 15th appointment. I cancelled this appointment twice more, to no avail. The Sears repairman came to my house today & I turned him away. FIX YOUR SYSTEM!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Sears Home Services. The technician came on the scheduled day and ordered the part needed, which arrived the next day. But then, things went downhill. They canceled the first repair appointment without informing me, then canceled and rescheduled again—without ever contacting me. It’s now been over a month since the initial consultation, and my dryer is still not fixed. No one answers the phone or provides updates, and I’ve already had to pay upfront. This has been one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, no accountability, and no resolution. I do not recommend using their services.
