Happy with the initial person who came out and diagnosed the problem not happy with the person that came out and installed the part that was ordered. After he left, I found extra screws and now the washer makes a clunking sound so I think I may have to have them come back out.

I don’t feel like anything was done he said that because it’s cold it’s hard for the heat push out he couldn’t fine anything wrong he just clean out some dust I had wait over 12 hours being cold they gave me time between 8am until 5pm but show up at 535pm I been freezing this whole time hopefully my heat stay warm but I was not happy about service I got

Technician wasn’t knowledgeable about the system . When I ask about replacing parts instead of sealing the his answered that the warranty company would not let them. He said there were no leaks in outside unit. Then comes back and said there was a small one but most were on the inside unit. I ask about the rest of the components he said I would have to take that up with the warranty company. I have a warranty to not have to deal these things, but have competent people come out to examine and explain options not that they can seal instead of replacing. A patch job only means another call later.

This is not an evaluation of the technician, but of the warranty company. The issues with my washer (which was not included as an option on the drop down list I had to use when requesting service) are things that occur intermittently. I did include a picture of one issue at the time it occurred. The repairman made it clear that he was only required or even allowed to repair it if the issue occurred while he was there so he could see it happen although he admitted that most of the time issues don’t reoccur while he’s there. He was only allowed to run tests (running the machine to see if it worked) and unless it duplicated the issue for him to see, he was done. Needless to say, it didn’t occur at that point, so he was done - as soon as I paid the $85 service fee. So how do I ever get this fixed? When it occurs again, do I pay $85 again? And again and again???

Our dishwasher’s plastic inlet valve fractured due to extreme cold weather. I set up the appointment, provided pictures and offered a video of what the issue was. The replacement part is readily available and asked them to have it when they showed up. They gave us an 8-5 window which is crazy to wait all day on a call. Tech showed up without the valve. Left after 10 minutes. Had to schedule another appointment again 8-5 window for the repair. Why do simple things have to be so hard. The tech was nice. The shutoff valve was behind the dishwasher so we had to pull the unit to shut off the water as the repair took a couple of weeks. Sears refused to reinstall the dishwasher.

They will not show up. Sears home service reviews are overall terrible but the 4 star for this location made me think I’d be OK. Idk if this location would have been the one to handle my repair but they are the closest location to me so they are getting this review. They will send you a billion texts confirming your appointment, asking what’s wrong with the appliance, telling you they are going to purchase parts if needed but they day of, you will wait the entire 4 hour window and not get a single update. You also can’t talk to a single human. Except the one that will call you the morning of your appointment to sell you on their membership program. Which, the call came at 8am when my appointment window was still young. Otherwise, I would have kept her on the phone till she connected me with a technician. The entire process uses AI bots. I’d consider myself a younger millennial, so I am all for the use of technology to streamline processes- but GOOD LORD. 0/10- would not recommend.
