Richard is one of the Technicians in our area and we have had him multiple times. I highly recommend him. Overall depending on what you are having service depends on the skill level of the technician they will send out. When we scheduled an HVAC tune-up we were unimpressed with the individual they sent out for that to say the least.

The worst appliance repair company in the world. Gave the operator the make and model of ice maker twice, and when the jerk arrives, after going to the wrong address, he tells me they don't service this brand. He then proceeds to tell me how to call the manufacturer and ask for parts so that I can fix it. After that he demands a service call fee of $136.00, and doesn't leave until I pay for it online. This is an old fashioned rip-off and a modern extortion at best. NEVER CALL SEARS, the old company went out of business for reasons like this, dont let these POSERS into your house. I am calling the Consumer Advocates office Monday.

The first technitions, Mike & Ethan, estimated our 'issues' incorrectly. They ordered parts needed and basically took our $$ and ran. A month after Larry and Mitch came to actually do the repairs and informed us that $1,000 more in parts were neededšŸ˜µā€šŸ’«. IF I would have known THAT I wouldn't have waited a month for repairs 😔 We really appreciated the honesty of Larry and Mitch. They came a l-o-n-g way just to tell us what Mike & Ethan should have.🤪 NEVERMORE Sears Repair Services🤔 I've learned the haā˜ ļø I paid $130 only to be very disappointedšŸ‘¹

If I could give a zero I would. I have a sears warranty (do not get one!). Fridge went out Oct 26, I made appt for technician and the earliest available was 2 weeks out…the guy shows up and I’m listed as non-warranty customer — he can’t change it in his systems thanks to AI, nor can I. Since it will cost me more $$ as a non-warranty customer, he cancels my appt, I reschedule for next day and he doesn’t show. One week later (earliest available again), appt is scheduled and this time sears cancels. I rescheduled for today and suddenly notice they have subversively canceled the appt again. I have spent 3 weeks unable to get a human being in the phone because sears switched to AI customer ā€œserviceā€ (ie avoidance). Today, by a stroke of luck, a third party technician dispatcher told me the trick to getting a human being on the phone. After talking to 4 people over 2 hours, the same technician I saw 2 weeks ago is supposed to be here this afternoon. Let’s see if he shows up. Sears window for repair is 8am-5pm. Therefore I have been out of work for 4 days waiting for sears…2 of which have been no shows. Also, I was told by the technician the first time he came that they are not allowed to carry parts around anymore so if it’s a compressor that needs replaced (again), he will have to order it, sears has to approve it, and then he/we wait for the part which could take another 1+ week. At this point I want the $$ to replace the fridge which would at least ā€œfeelā€ like I am getting a little back for the 4 years of warranty payments plus 4 missed days of work ($4k total). Biggest waste of $$$. My mistake was paying on this warranty plan instead of saving for appliance repair. So, #1 do not get sears warranty and if you signed up for it just to cover a repair/part, cancel it asap. I noticed Reddit customers who say you have to literally cancel the card the account is attached because people have had trouble with sears continuing to withdraw recurring payments after customers have cancelled warranties. Sears was decent until they hid their customer service providers behind a huge AI wall.

Would not even touch the washer and dryer. I bought it and brought it home & plugged it in like normal. Tech said because it wasn’t installed professionally, he would not touch it. Have an electrician come out 1st, then call them back for repairs… I was just diagnosed with brain cancer, starting radiation, mapping of my brain, etc & to come home from the hospital still not able to do clothes! Never again will I buy something from this company- I have never in my life been screwed over like this! How do I spend $1300 on a stackable unit, for it to be trash!? The dryer doesn’t get hot, the washer doesn’t run without the dryer going, & the washer does not drain all the way..now tell me, is that quality or what?? A repair tech that couldn’t touch the power cord? I am so upset!
