I would love to give Bradley a 5 star because he was curteous, explained everything to us that we needed to know and he was as quick as he could be with the fixes. However, sears was hard to communicate with, they rescheduled us 3 times without prior notice, an explanation, or anyone real contact beyond an email. Including the 2nd time they rescheduled us at 11:30 am when the service window was that same day between 8-5. Their service windows are a joke for anyone working and their customer service line was absolutely no help. I waited to make a review to see if our stove top was actually fixed. It was not. Even with replacing ALL of the burners, the stove was leaking gas and we had to fully replace it a month later after my entire house smelled of gas. Brad gets 5 stars, Sears appliance repair gets 1 star. PS- for pricing I cannot fully answer because we went through a warranty with our house.

We have a Kenmore Elite fridge. We LOVE it but are now aware they are horrible internally- the compressor has had to be replaced MULTIPLE TIMES (about 1x per year)! This is a common thing with them. So I am grateful we purchased the warranty to cover all our appliances, because it would be over $1,000 each time our compressor has gone out. Every tech that has come has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. So why did I give 3 stars? I would have given a 1/2 star if it wasn’t for the techs. My answer is two letters… AI. Since there are no humans to talk to, neither us, nor the techs, can explain specific situations and our situation was a specific situation. The last repair on our fridge (compressor again) ended up taking 4 months to get fixed! AI was cancelling our appointments, cancelling our part orders, trying to double charge our deductible and not letting the tech work until it was fixed, and there was NOBODY to talk to and explain our situation. We thought we were going to be out a fridge 2-3 weeks max, so we were using coolers and strategically buying groceries for our family of 6. But living out of coolers for four months, I had to throw out so much food- waste of money and sanity. We didn’t have an extra fridge, but we sure do now in case we have a repeat situation! In a nut shell- having a warranty on all our appliances, including furnace and air conditioner, is nice, because you know something will go out eventually. But be prepared for possible major headaches and long waits!

I will never use Sears Home Service again. They have no regard to the customers time. The price to fix a light in a refrigerator should not cost over $500 dollars. When you can purchase the light a lot cheaper than $182 dollars with the rest being labor. The labor you charge is so over priced for your service. I was always taught that your customer is number one. I feel you need to reassess your fee for the service you provide. Your service tech is not thinking of the customer . I had a message this morning stating I was second in line at 8:00 being the technician would there at 9:32 am and that didn’t happen they actually showed up at 11:40 am. Your customer service sucks.
