I will never use Sears Home Service again. They have no regard to the customers time. The price to fix a light in a refrigerator should not cost over $500 dollars. When you can purchase the light a lot cheaper than $182 dollars with the rest being labor. The labor you charge is so over priced for your service. I was always taught that your customer is number one. I feel you need to reassess your fee for the service you provide. Your service tech is not thinking of the customer . I had a message this morning stating I was second in line at 8:00 being the technician would there at 9:32 am and that didn’t happen they actually showed up at 11:40 am. Your customer service sucks.

Do not use service. Took multiple calls to connect with anyone discuss my appointment. Additionally window of repair was from 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Notification of cancelation was sent 4:40 PM.

Tech came out looked at our 13 month old Maytag washer told us it was the pump and it would cost 539.00 we said no. He then said he was going to go close everything up. He then snipped the wires to the pump and hid them. We bought a new pump and put it on only to discover the wires snipped

This was a miserable experience. We were left at in the cold with waiting for a part that wasn’t going to solve the problem. After almost 2 months the part arrived and the technician showed up to install the part. He was in the house for only 5 minutes and did absolutely nothing to check on the working order of the part. We had to return the part at our expense. This whole experience is unacceptable. Totally dissatisfied!

The technician that came out to my home took advantage of my partners ignorance when it comes to appliances. We just purchased a home. It can with a lot of appliances that the pervious owner did not maintain. The washer seal boot had mold on it. I requested for a technician to come out and replace it. Then do a general maintenance check on the washer and 3 other appliances. I was not able to be present when they showed up, so my partner handled it. The results of the visit is that the seal was not changed, none of my other appliances had basic maintenance done. And my partner was charged a 130 dollar diagnostic fee. Apparently my partner was told they couldn't change the seal without replacing the door. Thats not true. The seal is on the washer and completely replaceable, Ive already contacted another technician for that. And he also scheduled another appointment for a week later to discuss replacing the door and buying a warranty. Wtf. So yeah no. Not dealing with them again. They will do or say so they can charge you 130 fee. Mind you when I called to ask them what the new appointment was for, they couldn't give me an answer. There was no explanation in the techs notes. Not on today's appointment or the future one. Don't waste your time or money with scummy techs.

Tech showed up to order parts. Collected money and almost 60 days later…. Part was cancelled on 8 Jan, no one reached out to inform us and now they are refusing to pay money back for services not performed and they hang the phone up upon calling. I wanted this to work out but the techs refuse to provide information to their supervisor and only ask for you to call the 1-800 number. Unfortunately, that number goes to a call center and they hardly speak English. They have taken over $500 dollars since 18 December and nothing has been performed. At this point we might have to press charges of theft by deception since they are refusing to take phone calls.
