I think I was scammed by Sears. My dryer drum stopped working. 4 year old machine. Technician arrived 1.5 hour after my appointment window. Service cost was only $89. He spent 20 mins - removed a stuck sock (fell in through the filter); cleaned the bottom. I was super relieved that no parts were broken or needed replacement. But I still got charged over $300. I was told, he had to input a 'code'. But there was no code. I got 1 amount under 'labor cost' for $302. I was given an option to join their super expensive 'warranty' program, which would've reduced my cost to $176; which I obviously declined. Safe to say, I'll never call them again.

Technician mis-diagnosed the problem at 1st visit. Now Sears wants to charge me AGAIN for a 2nd visit within last 2 weeks. Perhaps if their technicians diagnosed correctly.. then this wouldnt be a problem

Very superficial visit. Said value needed replacement, couldn't do anything and left. Charged $89. Will never use Sears repair again.

This is the second time I used their service. On both occasions the technicians came, inspected the dishwasher, and advised me to buy a new one, because it would cost me more to repair it. Only this time, I found a You Tube video after the technicians left, and learnt that a $25 part from Amazon would fix it. After I received the parts from Amazon, it took me 15 min to replace it, and the dishwasher is working perfectly now. The $79 I paid to the Sears technicians for their visit was a waste of money. Should have gone to You tube first.

The serviceman came out to repair my refrigerator. he came in, looked in the fridge,plugged it in, banged on compressor,fiddled with control dial inside of fridge.said dial was bad and not available to get and that was it. no meters ever came out, didn't check relays or any components. it feels to me that I really got shortchanged on this call. gone in under twelve minutes!! Not a happy customer!

Three different people came out to see the AC unit, three different problems and three different prices. It went for $294, then to $1250 and then again to around $2300. I had to call multiple times to get yanked around. Would not recommend to anyone.
