They sent a washer dryer repair man for my refrigerator. He diagnosed the problem as a dispenser but when the new board came it did not fix the problem. Now I am out $129 for the faulty diagnoses $127 for a new board that did not fix the problem.

The technician should have tested the machine. It is doing the exact same thing I still cannot wash. The machine is not spinning, and I’m getting the same error message that no one never checked.✅

I don’t know if this is the right place cause Sears isn’t even in the mall anymore, but this review is for Sears Home Services. This is the worst company. Scheduled an appointment, waited for 5 hours. No one showed up, no call, no text. It’s very hard to get a hold of a person to ask what’s going on. Finally I do and she just offered to reschedule. I said no, I’ll get someone else. Why would I reschedule with you when you don’t keep and appointment and don’t even contact me. She said that they didn’t have a technician in the area to make the appointment. I then asked why are you taking appointments you can’t fulfill??? She said she would escalate it and try to get someone by 5pm. Of course, no one came, no communication. We ended up rescheduling because for a different day. Got a text back that says you’ve scheduled your appointment, we will send a confirmation text/email. Once again, did not receive any communication. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

While the actual real life repairmen were great and this has no reflection on them, getting them to my house was a NIGHTMARE. Do not even bother with this company. It took a lot of work finding an actual person to talk to because they rescheduled me FOUR times, three of which I took full days off work for and a relative staying for the fourth. Absolute worst experience. And a little tip, in order to get to their customer service line, call through your warranty people. That is the only way I found. This company is skimping on paying real workers and uses AI for literally everything. I’d give a negative score if I could.

I was connected to Sears through my home warranty service. I informed them that I was in need of emergency AC repair due to someone in my home with health concerns. After receiving a call that I would be next and checking their site, my appointment was rescheduled for 2 weeks later without prior notice. It will continue to be extremely warm, and now I need to worry about the health of my family while I try to find someone else before the holiday. Shows how much they care about people! Don't try to call them. You only get automated or AI responses!

The first technician that came to my home lied about the size of my Appliance to American Home Shield. And because the technician lied, my Appliance was not repaired or replaced. No photo available because I purchased a new Appliance. The next time something like this happens, I'm going to cancel my account with American Home Shield. So yeah, I'm upset about this situation.

Be aware that this company has exceptionally poor/ non-existent customer service. My experience entailed the wrong type of technician being sent to my house...who never showed up anyway. To attempting to get a hold of someone on the phone, that was not possible because they use an automated system that does not let you easily speak to a live person. I endured a day off from work(loss of wages), 8hrs sitting around for someone that wasn't coming...and ZERO communication on their part. I will not be using their service again!

The technician showed up at 8 but called to say he won’t be ready for 20 minutes. After 25 minutes he came to the door to look at my fridge. The ice maker has hardly made any ice in 3 days. He claims this is normal even through GE on the phone said it’s not. He never looked at water lines or even pulled the fridge out to even inspect it. He then said he needs to call GE from the van. He claims GE says give it a few more days. It was clear he had no intentions of inspecting or fixing the issue.
