Javier is quite knowledgeable in his field. The people that answer the phone for service are totally clueless. 1st, Javier was sent to wrong address. I was told by the customer service rep the "....heating element" was out of order Javier said a gas dryer does not have a heating element. Sigh. They billed me when the dryer's under warranty. anyway, Javier fixed the dryer stating that the gas valve wire was most likely loose. The customer service reps needs to thoroughly look up the account and actually learn what the status of the appliance is; warranty, protective agreement, etc.
Cheryl A,
The technician Victor was very professional & helpful. Problem was fixed in a timely manner & he offered some extra tips for ongoing furnace maintenance
Candace,
They were prompt, polite and considerate. We did not use their service since they don’t make an important replacement part, and we have to get a new machine.

Technician was terrific and straightforward - great service - 5 stars. Communication on the app / email regarding expected arrivals and timing was pretty dismal.

Sears (Sears home services) whole house appliance coverage is a good deal and I've used it twice now. They don't sub contract repairs anymore which I like. I've had to rely on a stove being replaced and a furnace being repaired. (I had to wait well over a month for the stove repair cause parts couldn't be found. Eventually they replaced the stove with an equally compatible one.) For the wait on the stove being my reason for not giving them 5 stars and also cause I couldn't interact with a real person to set up the appointments. Their system is all A.I. now. I have whole house insurance for 99$ a month which has a 100$ deductible per/incidence. Overall I've been covered for over 2 years now and recommend SHS. They have a lesser plan for 60$ a month that only includes mainstay appliances, excludes HVAC electrical and water pipes.
