Mess up our washer and ask 500$ to repair

Attempting to have Sears Home Services in to diagnose and fix a leaky washer. Sent pics and info in advance. On day one a technician showed up for ten minutes, said she couldn’t deal with it, and left. Rescheduled for day two, during which the estimated time of arrival at our place literally changed five or six times before SHS changed its mind and cancelled until the next day. There is no way to have a voice conversation with a human being at SHS - the only contact channel is an incoherent chat bot. I found a different service, booked them, and went to cancel Sears but it was nearly impossible; website said it was impossible and asked me to call a bot-staffed toll free number which had no record of my repair order. Finally figured out how to cancel via text on my phone. I will not try to use this service again.

Rude , called requesting parking spot, if we don’t provide parking, stated will not come, entered the unit requesting a ladder to fix the refrigerator, hooked the part and left hanging, spent 5 minutes, left not answering questions, then called asking for excellent rating. During diagnostic, he said compressor is bad, that is why the cost is high 1481.07 dollars, we got a piece, price of which with identical features numbers 90 dollars, labor cost 600 dollars, can not be justified by time of labor, overall experience, the worst experience, communication sucks, scheduling sucks, no show 3 times, and message says we missed you, and unit in a building with front desk attendant, while we are waiting anxiously, they say : we missed you, check the voicemail, no voice message sent. I needed to call from different phone number each time to get hold of a person. Unfortunately disaster experience, rest assured, I will never use sears again. If someone care and have the audacity to check and investigate, will be happy to explain more about my horrible experience with your service. No thank you

He didn’t come because I had to pay a diagnostic fee which I am not supposed to have to pay. I am still under the maintenance program even though it’s past the date. I called numerous times and they said there would be no charge so I told the service man not to come today until this was fixed where I did not have a fee.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Impossible to get ahold of anyone to talk about a service repair and just disconnects you mid conversation. Technician did not show and had to reschedule and he isn't showing again

I have a brand new refrigerator that was turned on in December and it was not cooling. Called sears and they charged me $379 to replace the fan. Now not even 3 months later, the fridge was not cooling again. I called them back and they said that now the issue was the gasket and charged me $99 for a diagnostic. I feel like they don't know what they are doing.

I contacted Sears for a freezer door repair, and they quoted me $800, which seems excessive when considering that a new fridge costs $1,200. I believe this pricing is unreasonable and hope for a fair resolution. Don’t call Sears for repairs.

I made it known it was an F10 warning. That tells what the problem will be in advance. I was advised that it could be a sensor or the control board. I could pick replacing one or the other, but it was recommended I replace both, which would cost what I could buy a new range. An online tutorial tells me you can determine which one is the problem with a multimeter. Never again will I call this company. I will on yelp make people aware that they should not call Sears. $139.00 for NOTHING
