Repair was not completed. Service person left without making sure appliance was fully working. The inside light still does not work despite the bulb being changed. No solution was offered.

After Technician installed ordered Parts on 11/3/25. I was instructed to Moniter the Chilling Progress over a Period of time! And told to Not buy new food for Storage in it till it was Determined that appliance was chilling Properly. Several hours Later Appliance was Checked & rechecked..It was Determined that Frigidaire was blowing VERY VERY Warm Air! No Where Near the temperature Chilling Range for a freezer! I was Alarmed at HOW WARM the air was! So Much So I Considered it a Safety Hazard to Retire for the night an Leave it Running for additional time! Therefore I unplugged appliance. Therefore I'm requesting that the Technician BE RECALLED to my residence as SOON AS POSSIBLE! Was extremely pleased with Technicians work! Problem is the Appliance is Still NOT Functioning Properly!

The technician was great! Very informative and considerate of my time. The 3 stars are for the company they schedule me for one day and moved the date and time to the next day. This was unacceptable and very inconsiderate of my time.

My experience with this service has been the worst I have ever encountered. The customer service at Sears is not what it used to be. There are a lot of 3rd party foreigners that promise to assist, but no one ever does. No one has shown up to fix my refrigerator for 6 weeks, and they say I cannot receive a food voucher until someone comes out to assess the problem, but they never show up and no one ever contacts me to say they are not coming. I take off from work to sit and wait for a no-show. There is no way I would recommend this service to anyone. After the term of my contract ends, I will be switching to AHS in the hopes that I will be provided with better customer service. This is crazy, I have spoken to at least six or seven individuals who claim to be able to assist me, and I have ended up in the same situation that I was in when I called. Refrigerator ducked tapped to keep it closed and minimize water leakage. Disgruntled long time Sears customer. Update to my review: I took a chance and scheduled another appointment on the website to pay for repair services and the technician actually showed up. Finally a real Sears technician came out in a Sears truck and uniform. Miguel fixed my refrigerator. After almost 6 weeks of agony, from the Sears Home Services Protection Plan call center. As I found out, the Sears Home Services Protection Plan is a totally different company, and they don't use Sears employees. They farm out the work to a 3rd party, and in my case, I was assigned to a sub-par company HBK Appliances in Lilburn, GA who never showed up after 3 scheduled appointments. Miguel fixed my refrigerator without additional parts, just elbow grease and patience. Although I am satisfied with Sears Appliance Repair Service, I am unsure about the entire Sears Protection Plan program. I still have not heard back from Sears Protection Plan customer service to reschedule the last no-show appointment, but I don't need them now. But I certainly did not get the service I pay for annually. It is time for Sears to return to the days of yesteryear, when the customer was of importance and they cared about providing the service the Sears name was built on.
