Not even worth a star. Automated call said the technician would arrive between 7:45 am and 9:45 am. No show, no call. Called 1-800 4 my home. The service person said he would now arrive between 11:45 an 1pm. Called again at 1:10 pm. Where was technician? They told me he had put in for replacement at 8:11 am. I was only notified after my call. So far I was told I would receive a $50 e-card ,never received it. Was told I would receive an authorization # and a receive a replacement amount within 24-48 hrs. It will be 96 hours by this afternoon. Completely disappointed in Sears, only had laundry center 19 months.

We have a GE Profile side by side refrigerator. The ice maker produces ice, but then somehow there is liquid water getting into the freezer, and it turns the cubes into a ice block! Also there are accumulations of ice from drippings in other places in the freezer compartment. We have had repairmen over 6 times. The entire ice maker has been replaced, the defrost sensor has been replaced but the problem is still not solved! We are not happy that no one can figure out what is wrong or how to fix it. We are tired of have water drip on everything in the freezer and freezing up, too. I give one star because I cannot give zero stars.

Needed refrigerator repaired. I had to wait a week for first available appt. Repairman came, fixed problem, put dent in door and didn't reconnect water line so no ice or cold water in door. Had to wait four days for next appt. On fourth day at time scheduled for service received a call saying they couldn't come out, and would have to reschedule. Now I have to wait another week for service appt. to fix a problem caused by the first service man. Still no ice, no cold water and I have a dent in my stainless steel door.

It took more than one week to get an appointment. The technician was one hour later than the original promised time. The technician also left the damaged parts and the packaging from the new parts on my kitchen counter. In addition, when he left the part he had replaced was not in working order. After I called to ask that he return the next day to complete the repair, I was told I would have to wait another week and pay another service fee for him to return and complete the repair.

What a nightmare of an experience. Called to get my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher rack fixed. Contractor shows up for the appointment and said he needed to order a part and would call me to make a follow up appointment to install. Over a month and a half later no call back, no part and I am getting the run around from Sears. Sears keeps telling me that they have already assigned to and Contractor and I should reach out to him. Why when my contract was with SEARS and I paid SEARS for the service!!! Still no dishwasher fix to date. Trust me when I say I will NEVER PURCHASE APPLANCES FROM SEARS EVER AGAIN!!!!

Waited all afternoon on June 20th only to be informed of their need to reschedule without any priority for June 26th. After complaining to both scheduling supervisor & Sears office, we were rescheduled for June 22nd. The technician that day call and asked to reschedule due to lateness of the day, but we refused. He arrived at 6:00, was very well qualified, very professional and quickly diagnosed a blown fuse. Fuse replaced and he was on his way within the hour.

By and large, this was probably the worst repair experience of my life. I totally regret calling Sears to repair my washing machine and using their service. First and foremost, they utterly fail to communicate properly. When you do reach a human being, after fighting through their idiot robotic answering system, that person is trained to placate you, but not necessarily tell you the truth. In my case, it took FOUR visits to effect the repair. The first person came when scheduled, determined an electronic component needed to be replaced and ordered it. A box was delivered and a person scheduled to install it a week later. That person never once called or texted and showed up after 7 PM (the service window was 1-5 PM). He couldn't get anything to work and left an hour later after re-ordering the part. A week later, a repair person was scheduled to install the next "new" part. He just simply failed to ever show up at all and Sears blamed it on a computer glitch. Another week later and along came Jed, on time and after calling to alert us that he was on the way. He quickly determined that all the ordered components were for a machine other than ours (a Samsung) and could never have worked. He offered to go to the Samsung warehouse himself and after spending two hours there, arrived back here at 7 PM. Within an hour, he had everything up and working, having gone way above and beyond what could be expected. Unfortunately, he is the exception, not the rule, when you deal with this wretched company. Think twice before you call Sears for a repair. I know I never will again.

I called into Sears on Sunday the 18th and told them my washing machine just flooded my laundry room. They told me that an outside repair group (Fix My Appliance) would do the repair on Wednesday the 21st. I received confirmation email from Sear and the day before phone call to confirm the repair appointment. The technician did not show or call on Wednesday When I called in to see what happened, they fed my a BS line and they rescheduled for Friday the 23rd. The tech showed up and, as usual did not have the needed part on his car. (Yes, I said car as he was driving around in an unmarked Subaru) I had to wait another week (30th) until they got the part (mailed to the third party) and came back to my house. The tech did the "repair" by installing two new parts and he left. My wife immediately started doing laundry (as soon as he left). Well, when the machine got to almost the end of the cycle, the machine broke down again. I called the technician immediately and reached his phone recording. He did call me back later, and he told me he would come back to look at it the nest day, Saturday. He did show, took out one of the new parts that he just installed the previous day, and put back the old part. Well....the machine now works with the one part the tech installed, even though I didn't need the second part. After years of being a Sears customer, buying Kenmore products, and using their repair service (A&E), I realize now that Sears DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! And they wonder why they have to close up ALL their stores. I don't wonder at all!
