The service technician was NOT at my house. This is the 14th or 15th time a service technician was scheduled to be here to service my washer/dryer and did not show up.

I've paid Sears in full for the repair starting on Aug 28th with half, the remainder on 10-22 when repair was "completed" and refrigerator still doesn't cool. I was talked into buying another part on and Sears said they would cover labor and I've had two scheduled appointments canceled by Sears since so I still await repair. This has been a horrible experience.

I initially called Choice Home Warranty on 8.01.24, the appointment was set for 8.20.24 - 19 DAYS LATER! The link to ask for an earlier appointment with Sears Repair didn't help or offer other dates. Today, 8.20.24, the tech called me asked me what the problem was, I said the same thing I had written in my initial claim - one room in my house was not cooling. The tech then tells me, it must be an air duct issue which is not covered under home warranty. The repair tech then ask me if I still want him to come, he states he is 45 minutes from my house. Of course, I said no. MY QUESTION IS, "WHY WOULD I WANT YOU TO COME IF YOUR NOT GOING TO FIX THE PROBELM?" Sears Home repair 19 days, really!!! If I have coverage for my heating/cooling unit why would your repair tech call and tell me it is not covered without checking the unit? How does he know over the phone that is the problem with my HVAC? I also received this questionnaire about my visit...THERE WAS NO VISIT, HENCE 1 STAR.

My washer is not fixed, whatever he did, did not fix the problem. It still shakes out of balance.

He does not understand or speak English. He gets frustrated easily. He did nothing to fix our issue.

SUX ‼️ I tried 14 times to correspond with Sears Appliance Repair, in an attempt to alter the appointment TIME for my appointment on June 7th. I DID NOT GET A RESPONSE‼️ Consequently, the repairman showed up during the time I was available to give him access to my home. I feel sure the repairman did not receive any notice of my appointment time request, due to lack of communication between him and his dispatcher. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for Sears Appliance Service not being in touch with their people in the field with updates to their service calls. There is no need for having all your high-tech correspondence program, if you're not going to use it properly. Bad service, did not even try to fix problem. It turned out to be the cooling fan and 4 other parts. Not the sealed system as he predicted! Could not understand his heavy Asian accent!

The technician refuses to submit a diagnosis to the Choice Home Warranty, therefore my claim can not move forward. (Date of service: 10/27/23). Still no response from the Sear's technician. The telephone number provided is totally automated. The ability to speak to an individual is impossible. The only thing that was done quickly was the collecting of the service fee, although no repairs were done.
