Our service tech today was awesome. She completed our repair with no issues. She showed up timely and completed the repair quickly. She diagnosed the problem originally and ordered parts for the repair to be delivered to us. Sears AI/Customer Service on the other hand is not great. You can't speak to a person. Appointments were scheduled and no person showed up and no phone call was received, which required the appointment to be rescheduled. Working to get this repair completed since March 2025.

Our Sears Service Tech was incredible! The issue we had actually began in August, 2024 with the same complaint we just recently experienced with our gas stovetop. We always explained our experience the same way carefully noting that there was an actual explosion that lifted the stovetop from the marble countertop. This left the back of the stovetop unable to fit back in the countertop because a rubber gasket was out all across the back of the stovetop. We had a tech who replaced several parts but never tested for a gas leak. I would not use the stove because I was afraid of it. Then I recently decided to boil a pot of water while making dinner and was standing with my back to the stovetop when there was another explosion!! So it all began again with techs without enough knowledge to even know how to check out the situation. Then we have a tech who finally knew what to check out and what he was looking for plus he was a pleasant person! He ordered parts, came back and fixed the problem. An experienced, knowledgeable person who knows what to do!! Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to say for this tech’s quick diagnosis and repair! Not many like him!
