Didn’t clean up after work of fixing dryer and clearing lint from line. Very unprofessional to not throw the lint away and just leave it on our floor.

I had a scheduled appointment with Sears Home Repair between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and they never showed up. No call, no update, no explanation—nothing. The only communication I received was an automated message repeating the same time window. I rearranged my entire day and even missed Easter Sunday service waiting for them, only to be completely ignored. This level of disrespect for a customer’s time is unacceptable. If you can’t keep an appointment or at least communicate, you shouldn’t be in the service business. I will not be using Sears Home Repair again and strongly recommend others think twice before booking.

I give one start because the technicians are good however, the company itself is horrible! No live person whatsoever to speak to and also takes forever to make a appointment as well. They reschedule you without any kind of notice on the day that they're supposed to come out!

Technician gets 5 stars, but Sears deserves ZERO. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because of the incredible technician who went above and beyond to save the day. Truly a professional — responsive, kind, and clearly dedicated to doing his job despite the chaos created by the company he works for. Sears, on the other hand, completely dropped the ball at every step. After making me wait TWO FULL DAYS for a repair, they canceled my appointment without notice or explanation. Customer service was absolutely useless — no solutions, no accountability, just a lot of “passing the buck” and empty apologies. It was like talking to a wall. The only person who showed any sense of responsibility or service ethic was the technician. Thankfully, I was able to text him directly, and he still showed up and got the job done — even after Sears had bailed completely. If I could rate him separately, he’d get 10 stars. This was one of the most stressful service experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ll think long and hard before ever booking anything through Sears again. They should be ashamed of how poorly they treat customers — and even more ashamed of how they leave their technicians to clean up their mess. After receiving an automated response from Sears and STILL no resolution to the issues experienced, I feel prompted to add to my review. The company did what they could to save face and protect their place with Google's algorithm (Important to business owners) by sending an automated response that effectively says- if you have more issues, reach out. Well, I did that prior to this review- about six times and was met with an outsourced call center that assured me there was NO ONE I could speak with, they don't "have managers" and that the person reading the script was the one "best positioned to help me" and that person could not even answer why my tech would not be arriving after waiting two full days (missing work each day) - nor could they re-assign another tech to get my issue taken care of. HORRIBLE customer service that needs attention.

A total joke! They didn't even show up, but yet gonna send in receipts and a survey how they can do better. You can do better by actually showing up and doing the work. What a joke and a rip off!

IfvI could give less than 1 star Ibwould. Nigel didn't replace or repair anything but reported to AHS that he replaced the water inlet valve. This is one of the 2 parts he told me he would have to order. Furthermore, he required me to sign a blank screen on his phone. When I questioned him as to what I'm signing he said it was my signature that U didn't have to pay anything. I told him I wanted to see that part of the document and his rely was that he doest have that. Clearly, that was a lie because what was later emailed to me was an actual document. Again, Nigel NEVER brought any parts into my home and certainly never replaced any parts. He emptied my I've tray and played around with the water dispenser and ice maker and said he'll have to order the parts. This didn't make sense to me. Since parts had already been ordered based on Sears. Ir's IA robot through the text that told me they had already ordered the parts before The Visit. I had to call AHS back. They called Sears again and now they're supposed to send someone else. I am livid about being lied to and I'm livid. About your technician lying to my warranty company also!!

Booked an appointment for a diagnosis for our double oven. They came out and said it would be almost $900 to order a part and repair. The technician was wonderful, very kind and knowledgeable. We agreed to proceed and paid them the $856 on Feb. 21st. This was over a month ago (now Apr. 7). After all this time, they have rescheduled multiple times and not shown up despite me waiting around from 8am until 5pm. Then I get an email that if they don’t hear from me in 24 hours, they’ll cancel my appointment. How can you be a no-show then tell me I am the reason you’ll cancel, especially after taking $856 from me? I tried to reschedule my appointment online, but it gave me an error message and said I now had to call a number to reschedule. If you call customer service, you cannot get in touch with a human. It’s an automated system where you press 1 or 2. Useless. On Apr. 4th, I finally got through to an AI assistant on an alternate number and asked to speak to a human. I was routed to a call center that could not figure out how to help me reschedule around the error message. After being transferred, I was assured someone in their back office team would reschedule my appointment and someone would actually show up this week. I was specifically told that my appointment would not be cancelled. Well, I woke up this morning to a cancelled appointment. No mention of refunding my $856. I will be disputing the credit card charge and reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and Georgia Dept of Law’s Consumer Protection Division.
