This was a total waste of time. Bill came in and closed out the ticket faulty us without ever looking at where it actually leaked. I was told to put in another ticket tomorrow for him to come back out and actually fix it. Absolutely not.

4 missed appointments. Over 2 months of zero help. Can't rely on anyone. Going through a Home Warranty and Sears is the only one taking the claim, but refuses to show up. Fully ghosted me 2 of the 4 appointments. Confirming appointment means nothing if you miss the phone call in the morning. First appointment, missed the call in the morning. Called back within 5 minutes. No answer. Called multiple times the rest of the day only for it to be cancelled around 1PM. Claimed I cancelled it. The worst is that we reschedule for two weeks out. No call. Ghosted. Then the next day got a notice saying I cancelled. Put out a new claim again. Appointment set. Ghosted. No call. Once again, next day automatically cancelled. 4th appointment over 2 months later since the initial, they finally called me again but I was stuck in an emergency meeting and couldn't answer. Called back multiple times wouldn't answer. They cancelled again around 1pm. Technician answered after he canceled. Told me not answering meant I cancelled it. Refused to come to my location after his current job (we were the only 2 scheduled). Guess he gets to go home early and that's all that matters. If the singular phone call is what matters, then why bother confirming?? Sears has you confirm multiple times prior to the day. Used 4 vacation days now, over $200 a day it has cost me. So $800 used up for no one to show or care. Again, ghosted twice. No recourse. Just have to go through Home Warranty again. No wonder Sears is going out of business. Only sad it couldn't happen sooner. Edit: since I see other reviews mentioning the same tech. The first three appointments were with "Rodney T". Literally ghosted me twice on appointment 2, and 3. Wouldn't return and call on appointment 1. Response to Sears Below: No, no you won't. I called in to escalate my case every single time you missed the appointment. And they always scheduled it 2 weeks out. Never a priority. Nothing changed. The technicians don't care, the customer service reps don't care, and the social media manager most certainly doesn't care. If you care, call me. Make it right. You have my info. Get a technician out. I'm over it. Keep closing down your stores. You'll notice multiple reviews saying the same thing about no shows and even with the same technician I've had issues with. Keep this up on your online business is gone too.

1st appt was a no call, no show. 2nd appt was a no show, tried to tell me via text what the problem was & that I owed him money, when my dryer is covered under warranty. Refused to answer his phone when myself & GE both called. So frustrating to even call sears….20 different prompts, hold times are ridiculous & you get transferred to so many different people.

Had 2 appointments with Rodney T. No notifications, no call of any kind no show for either appointment. Sears tried to cover for him on the first appointment on 7/24and said he wasn’t in the area. Then had to reschedule my appointment on 7/31 because it became unavailable. The appointment for 8/8 nothing and appointment was closed. But again No call no show. My dealings with Sears has been completely dissatisfying.

My freezer stopped freezing and making ice. This began in July. 8 visits, 3 repairs (of 3 completely different parts), 2 no-shows, and countless phone calls later, I had to call Assurant. Sears states that they have to replace the same part 3 times or the tech can recommend a replacement before they pay out for the appliance. I mentioned this to the tech and he said "I wish". When calling Sears, their support people are incompetent and occasionally rude, if they go off script, they get lost. Tech was lazy, unprofessional, and rude. I called Assurant, who owns my warranty, and told them about all of this and the fact that I had no freezer for 3 months, and they escalated it to claims who immediately recommended a payout for a new refrigerator. While the warranty is great, dealing with Sears for 3 months was nothing short of horrendous.
