Problem is back
The problem is back only a few days after it was fixed. Not sure why. Technician is scheduled to come back in one week. This is the third time this problem has happened. Maybe it is time to replace the defective unit ?

Over the last 9 weeks y'all have came out to try to fix my frig ordering this part & that part & y'all can only come out on Thursday s needless to say . After all this time having no frig is a pain in the a— 2 bags of ice every day & losing food everyday. Now they say it can't be fixed so now I have to wait at least a week to hear from Sears to see what they will give us so we can by a new fridge. And every fridge I like is a mouth out before they can deliver so 1 week to let me know how much they will give us ( frig is a kenmore elite bought March of 2021 ) delivery 4 week so we are looking at most likely it will be a 6 weeks & we started this the 1st week of august. The guy that has been working on it has be working hard but his hands are tied when it comes to scheduling appointments and getting parts .

worst tech I've ever had sent to my house.
Technician did not listen on how to recreate the problem and lacked a basic understanding of how a dishwasher worked. He kept trying to tell me that that the 2nd smaller detergent cup was for rinse aid even though the machine has a rinse aid dispenser in addition to two detergent cups in the detergent dispenser. He also didn't understand that when high temperature wash is selected the water for the main wash is heated after the pre wash is done. This information is in the operating manual for the dishwasher. He left to go on another job with the machine running and told me to call his cell if the breaker tripped again. It tripped about 5 minutes after he left and he is not answering his cell phone. I left a voice mail. He also told me that I don't have a Sears Master Protection agreement but I have an Assurant warranty.

Billy Destroyed My Venting System
Billy, the Sears technician, pulled my downdraft vented range out to do a repair on the oven and tore the duct system up as he replaced the bottom heat element. Trying to get Sears to recognize that this incident needs to be corrected has been a nightmare. I could not reach a person to speak, but instead was forced to interact with Samantha, an AI bot, and was repeatedly told that a new diagnostic technician would determine if the old technician had caused the issue and this person would decide if I was to be charged for their visit. I'm not sure why Billy could not have reported the incident and set up the repair. I would not now be feeling that I am a criminal trying to trick Sears. And, angry because I was not allowed to speak with a live human being.

Horrible experience
My home is on the market. I had someone there on 6/27 and your technician did not show up by 6 pm and she had to leave. Rescheduled for 7/1 and I drove from Leesburg to be there. He did finally show up. He acted like he didn't know what he was doing. He then told my warranty company that it was pre-existing which it was not. They refused my claim.

Horrible tech
Arrived 30 minutes after time he said he'd be here. Mumbled and demanded payment, told me he didn't have a way to process my credit card so I suggested calling in to your office. The American express card didn't go through after 3 tries so I suggested calling your office. I also said I could try another card...he got angry said he was leaving when I told him I couldn't understand him ...please reschedule me with someone else. I had a critically important doctor's visit scheduled today that I cancelled because your tech was scheduled 8 to 5pm. I am 75 and have significant hearing loss..your tech was rude and impatient

3 tech visits and on the phone and it's still not fixed!
refrigerator still not working after third service call. The last technician said the compressor was bad (which was ordered by the previous technician) but he couldn't fix it because a dryer and evaporator also needed to be ordered. The parts arrived and this technician said it was only the evaporator that needed to be replaced since it was leaking. HOWEVER, my refrigerator is STILL not cold and it's staying at a HIGHER temperature than before the evaporator replacement! I AM BEGINNING TO WONDER IF ANY OF THE TECHS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I'VE HAD 3 TO THE HOUSE AND ONE CALLED AND EACH TIME NEW PARTS ARE ORDERED,. The last tech took just about all the parts back and I suspect some of them are needed to fix my refrigerator.
