They could not repair my washer after I paid for a part I was told I would get a refund but it took over a month you cannot talk to anybody with the phone systems don't recommend them

Sears appliances warranty is the worst. When I needed their services they turned me down, after paying them every single month. They are ripping people off. Stay away from them...

This was the worst appliance service I have ever used. We needed our oven repaired before Thanksgiving. They cancelled twice. Finally a tech came on Wednesday. He had no idea what to do and was googling. He said we just needed to turn on the self-cleaning oven and reset the code. He turned on the self-cleaning oven and let it run and then said we were good to go. He charged me $80. The error code came back on 2 hours later. He gave me his cell phone number but would never respond. You can’t even talk to a human when you call the Sears number. I was able to Google and figured out how to get the true error code. I paid $80 but had to diagnose my own problem. I am still waiting on a refund.

I called to make an appointment. After reading them the seriel # on my fridge, they told me that my compressor was under warranty. Because of this I told them to come out and fix it. I was ok with paying the labor. Once they get here they tell me the compressor is not under warranty and it'll cost $1200 to repair. They still charged me $120 just to come out. I would of NEVER told them to come out if they told me from the begginning the compressor was not under warranty. I Called custumer service and they did not care and had to pay. STAY AWAY TRUST ME. CALL YOUR LOCAL REPAIR STORE. AVOID THE HEADACHE,SCAMMERS!

Technician filled out paperwork incorrectly by not referencing the serial number or model of my HVAC Unit. The technician signed the report denoting completion of the work without reviewing the results of the maintenance review with me THE CUSTOMER. technician called me to inform she was on her way to my home to perform the service but a different technician showed up at my home. During the maintenance review the requirement for a capacitor replacement was identified, but I was told I would have to make another appointment for warranty repairs since the current service call was for preventative maintenance only. The work could have been completed today if the technicians were willing and motivated to completed the task. Forcing the customer to schedule another service call and wait all day for the tech to call and claim they are coming only to send an inexperienced replacement to do the job is ridiculous and disrespectful to the paying customer.

The repair person showed up at my house after I had already told him the error code on the washer. He spent most of his time looking up the error code on his own cell phone and open the front door by hand and turned the drum by hand as I had told him I also did. Then he searched his phone again to tell me the part is not available. The spin cycle is run by an electric motor and by electrical circuits. At NO TIME did this person EVER open the back of my washer to check to see whether I did or didn’t have an electrical current running through the wires. He was also was supposed to clean out my dryer and check it over. He looked at me and asked me if my dryer worked. I said yes and he said ok that’s everything. Then charged me a service fee. He did absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to help me. YouTube helped me more. I would not trust this person to do anything in my house ever again

The tech said it was fixed. It is not it is still throwing the same code. We have been without a washing machine for over a week and now heading in to the holidays we still do not have a working washing machine. I attempted to contact the tech and he has not returned my texts or phone calls. Disappointed is not tye word I'm looking for.

These people are the worst humans on the planet. They STOLE our AC unit and has been 3 weeks since we have lost our AC. With no repairs in sight. They are liars , don’t show up, don’t even have a proper phone number. THE WORST COMPANY I’ve ever encountered. If it wasn’t for my warranty company leading me to them I would have NEVER trusted them. Be WARNED you do NOT want them entering your home.
