Service was performed as expected. I don’t like, however, that it doesn’t seem like it is possible to get a human on the phone???
Keith K,

The service was very, very, very slow. About 2mo. in all to just put an electric motor in. We lost about $200.00 worth of food during that long wait.
lawrence D,
Customer service response - We apologize deeply for the delay and the inconvenience it caused, including the loss of food. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can improve.

This place is a rip off don't use them for repairs. I wish I could have given them 0 stars, but Google forced me to give them 1 star. I don't take the time to write bad reviews but I felt I needed too to save someone else the headache and spending hard earned money for nothing. I'm sure you are thinking its Sears they have been in business for years, but don't because that is the same thought I had. I just paid $138 ($129 tech fee + tax) for the tech to tell me it would be $1300 to fix my stove heat regulators. Which is insane considering I can get a brand new one same type for less than $1000. This company marks up the prices on parts and charges high cost in labor. I know because i researched the parts from my service order as soon as the tech left my house. It would seem that Sears makes their money by rip off customers for $138, jacking up their prices on parts so techs don't have to spend the time on the repair to move on to the next sucker to get their $138 dollars and do the same. This all could have been avoided if Sears does business in a ethical matter but they don't. When you schedule the appointment they "say" they will have a tech call you about the issue to discuss, but they didn't. They give you the "option" online to select what the issue is with the appliance, but it would never update my order. It only gave me an error message everytime I tried to do so. And forget about trying to call them because all you get is a IVR phone service that is useless and you can't get a human on the phone. Had I been given the option to discuss my repairs over the phone with a tech and able to update my order about the issue it could have avoided me wasting $138. Sure I knew about the fee but didn't expect to not have the repairs done. And since when do company charge tax on service fees. Well, if you made it this far in my review I hope I was able to save you from the experience of being ripped off that I had and you've found a different company to go with. I'm sure that I will get some stupid automated reply to my review saying "We are sorry for your experience...blah blah blah". Well unless you are going to reply saying you refunded my $138, save your lilttle robots time and effort - don't replay. I will find everywhere I can post this review to voice my experience, won't just stop here. Corporate office will be my next place to voice my experience as well. This post has no reflection on the tech that was here. Chris was great. He can't help that he works for cons artist like Sears. It's no wonder that your company had to close stores because no over there knows how to do business in a ethical matter.

We have been experiencing trouble with the noise coming from our washer. We can’t help it that the drainage is going bad. We don’t won’t water all in our house. The tech had an attitude when he was explaining what was wrong and why GE would not repair. He was very close ended.
