Our microwave works for now.
The 2 techs showed up, not together…they did fix the microwave for now. They both talked about personal issues and about other employees, not very professional. Also, 2 parts were mailed to us and they only used one and they took the other one, they said they had to return it…we had to supply a table for them to work on the microwave , they should have had a table and blankets…not real impressed…

Michael is a nice young man. He replaced our control panel, but broke the cold water valve in the process. After 2 weeks without a washer he returned with the valve. After replacing the value neither the cold or hot water would work. He disconnected a wire, which blew t h e new control board he had installed, which we paid over $627. He had another appointment and left. Telling us he would get us a refund. After 3 weeks, we are still out of a washer and needing to fined another repair service. So disappointed in Sears. Waiting to hear from you on refund. M I Charles is a nice young man, but over his head with some new technology.

I generally love Sears Warranty. This time was the most frustrating experience. I was given a Saturday date originally. Wait 8am to 5pm. NO ONE CAME. Yet a I got a receipt (net zero since annual), got a form where I am supposed to sign (DID NOT) and a review to rate JOSEPH, who never came. Called, they rescheduled for the next Tuesday. Same thing, NO ONE CAME! (no receipts this time). I called and refused to hang up until my situation was acknowledged and was rescheduled for today, Friday. Wait again 8am to 5pm. I, once again, followed the truck on the map which originally said would be here at 1:49pm. Did not come until around 3:30pm. Joseph sat in his truck for a good 15 minutes while we had the garage open, and my husband was sitting and waiting for him. Joseph has been here before. This was probably the shortest time here, did not check the unit outside (maybe since a heating not AC check?, others always have) and said there were some things he couldn't get to with the attic unit, others always have. So, overall experience of waiting on phones, transferred and left hanging several times just to have to start the calls over, waiting for tech that never showed up, twice, and feeling like it was the quickest run through have affected my overall rating. Normally, I have a great experience. I am sorry to have to say this was not the case, this time.

1. Joseph was very pleasant. 2. Joseph has a good attitude. 3. Joseph apparently trusts me because he didn't go into the house to look at the filter or the thermostat. 4. This was the fastest annual check up I have ever experienced. 5. Joseph said the air conditioner is functioning well.

I think it's not the Technician fault when the management is scheduling his route daily or managed by a computer sending messages of estimated time that is not real, when hours pass and no show up. scheduling from 8 to 5. I think it's wrong having people waiting all day for the visit. too many reminders to the schedule but failure of shown up on estimate time from 9.55 to 11:30 Am but show up at 6.20 Pm

Unhelpful, short on details
Unhelpful, short on details, short on communication. Was almost out the door before I could ask any question like do I need to reset the ice maker (which I forgot to ask in his rush out the door). Also, Was told not to use refrigerator or freezer for 24 hours, which seemed rediculous…. Told us not to buy any refrigerated items 2 days before a hurricane because the "power was going to go out" without knowing the fact if power would go out and ignored the fact that we were going to supplement freezer with multiple bags of store bought ice to mitigate temperature if power indeed went out. The guy seemed to enjoy that fact that we were and have been without a refrigerator of freezer for the last ten days.

Tech missed problem
The door contacts on the microwave are malfunctioning again. The internal switches don't line up with the door connectors, so the microwave fails to start. The internal section was replaced, but the door appears to be the problem. In order to make the microwave to work at all, you have to pull down on the door as you are shutting it in order for the unit to activate.

Dryer never repaired
Service technician never showed up by per Sears Home Services he issued a repair ticket stating dryer works fine. Can't imagine how he is employed

Service call
Chris gets no stars because he never showed up for the appointment but they sent me a receipt for 00 saying they came. He never arrived at my house.The text with the updates said they arrived but not at my house. Sears has the worst service ever.

Dryer review
Kyle was great he gets a 5 star. The whole process stinks. It doesn't even get a single star. Kyle showed up after 2 no show. ( he wasn't notified). If you have an open request, the system will not allow you to contact a live person. So no way of finding out what was happening. I was promised a reduction in cost due to the first no show, but that was not communicated to Kyle., so I had to pay full cost. Until software is changed I would recommend staying away from sears. The system has been designed without consideration of the buyer. So if sears doesn't care about buyers, don't buy.
