Sears Home Services misdiagnosis of our dryer resulted in us having to buy a new dryer we did not need. Called and Sears Home Services refused to provide credit for misdiagnosis. Very disappointed.

UPDATE: The phone number and website given are no help please stop with the fake replies to negative feedback. Your call center already told me there is nothing they can do. Zero stars. I had the worst experience working with this company. Rescheduled my repair FOUR times. Will only contact you by email/text/AI assistant. Their customer service is all automated. They charge the customer a fee for cancelling but cancelled the day of on me four times. Save your time do not use them.

The guy came didn’t stay very long told me it wasn’t the dryer that was the problem it was the breaker had a electrician came look at my breaker and said it was the dryer had someone different come and they fixed the dryer so I got charged 127$ just for him to tell me it wasn’t the dryer but it definitely was so he either didn’t know what he was doing or didn’t CARE ENOUGH

This is the third time that Sears has had me scheduled and then Not showed up at all without a phone call or any kind of notification. They give you a window of 8am to 5pm and expect you to be there for them. They are a waste of time and completely unprofessional, First American Home Warranty needs to dump these clowns.

I called in the tech for my fridge not cooling. Freezer was still working. The tech said I needed a new condensor fan and compressor. The total repair would be $1500. The tech recommended I purchase a new fridge. Following the tech visit I reached out to distributor appliances to see how much the parts cost. The associate noted that sometime the compressor with shut down because it gets to hot and to leave the fridge unplugged for a day and then plug it back it. I thought why not give it a shot. WHEN I PLUGGED MY FRIDGE BACK IN IT WORKED AND COOLS BETTER THAN EVER!! REPAIR COST $0. Sears refuses to return the $125 I paid for the bad diagnosis.
