Not happy with this service at all!!! The last tracking said arrive about 2:39 pm. No contact until I texted at 4pm. He said he was in my driveway and would be in shortly. He seemed in a hurry and didn't want to be there. I explained my concerns. He opened the fridge and said it was leaking refrigerant and the compressor was going. He didn't pull it out or test anything except to squeeze the ice cream and say it was soft. I told him it was just over a year old. He asked why I didn't answer if it was under warranty during his initial morning call. He never asked me that! I said it was just over a year old and I didn't buy an extended warranty so I didn't think anything would be covered. I paid the $138 charge and did not receive anything that explained what he found. I just had a separate service come out. They smelled the same thing I did but he did all the tests, pulled it out and checked all the lines. That's how it should have been done!!!!

Always a 30+ minute hold time when calling. Missed appointments, and lack of status updates.

Technician used two cell phones to diagnose the “problem”. He stated that repair would cost $1400. And parts would take 3 months to acquire. I declined and he left. I restarted the ice maker and it’s functioned seamlessly since. He obviously didn’t want to mess with it and I wasted 105.00 on a service call. Sears has a reputation to uphold that’s better than that.
