The technician was ok only the appointment was from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. At 4:12 pm he called me saying he was 1 hour away if it was ok to come, I responded yes. He arrived at 5:18 pm. THE PRICE WAS OUT IF YOUR MIND. He was here for 40 minutes. He only had to use the vacuum to sock the ice inside the tube. No pieces replaced, nothing else. The bill was for $370. If I saw wat it was and the location of the tube for sure I could do it myself. AgainYOU REALKY OVER CHARGE.

Technician is knowledgeable and friendly. App used to update customer on time of arrival is inaccurate. 8-5 service window is unreasonable for a working person.

This was one of the worst repair experiences I’ve had. On the day of service, Sears Home Repair canceled the appointment. Then their AI system repeatedly got my address and phone number wrong. Even worse, during the confirmation process, the system randomly is responded with “Oh, you want to cancel” when I never said that at all. When the technician finally arrived, he thought he was there to repair a dishwasher — not my Café refrigerator. To top it off, he admitted he wasn’t even certified to work on the refrigerator I scheduled service for. The entire process was disorganized, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. Poor communication, broken scheduling systems, and sending the wrong technician made this an incredibly disappointing experience. NOTE: Hah! Nice response. Had you truly cared you’d reach out to me rather than place ownership of a call on the customer who experienced such horrible service. I have no intention of being the party that owns the efforts associate. With a response beyond this one!

NEVER purchase a warranty from Sears Home Services. It would take pages to chronicle the horrible experience we've had. Just to begin, getting an appointment was a nightmare, then numerous cancellations and No Shows. Once we had someone show up, he did diagnose and order parts. Once parts came, again, no shows to fix. Service order had no notes about the problem, just a diagnostic appointment again. Repair person finally showed and installed new parts (to his dismay). They did not work and it was clear to us when he left that he knew it wasn't going to work. This started in January and it's now May and we still don't have a working washing machine. Their use of AI is a nightmare for both consumer and technicians. I could go on...
