Dishwasher Repair
Benjamin got my dishwasher diagnosed and repaired within 45 minutes. Good job. NO parts were needed. Only drip tray and float were wet and dried of with paper towels and reinstalled and the cost was $ 319!!! Completely unreasonable pricing. I will absolutely not recommend Sears Home Services to anyone due to that.

kenmore freezer issue.... and sears finance credit back
misdiagnosed the issue with the freezer after i paid $ 632 in advance for what was a temperture control unit replacement ..... waited 4 days for a revisit. and he tells me now its a compressor winding and would be substantially more.... he was honest about it. and i declined..... still havent received my credit back on my card which is concerning.

Too long to finish repairs
It takes to long to complete repairs when pairs arrive. Went 3 weeks no frig. Can't talk to human voice only computer

I was given an 8 am to 5 pm window the the technician arrived after 6pm took the cover off and did his checking. After awhile he said the a\c appeared to be working. Since there was no longer a heat load and a slightly cool air flow was present it seemed To be so. However the next opportunity I had to check the indoor temp was 80 and the thermostat was set to 72. In the past this would nor have occurred, The conclusion I came to is that the problem was not resolved. I have an asthmatic problem that makes it hard for me to breathe un der these conditions. Please send someone else to correct this problem.

Terrible service
Our refrigerator is still not working. This is not an issue with the technician, it is an issue with Sears. We need a technician to come back and repair the unit.

Bad Experience
This review is more about the overall company experience and not neccessary from Jon, as he was the one that finally figured out the problem. It took Sears 4 trips over 3 weeks to get my dryer fixed. They misdiagnosed the problem twice and ordered incorrect parts twice as well.

Samsung Microwave
James G did not service my Samsung microwave on 10/23/25. Bennie Guzman serviced my microwave as he has in the past four repair visits. On 10/22/25 I had a confirmed appt. and no one called and no one showed up. This is not the first time this happened to me. It is totally unprofessional to confirm an appt and make someone wait an entire day and no one show up. Unprofessionalism to the inth degree.
