Follow up visit for Ice Maker

I had to reschedule my visit from Thursday to Friday due to one of the two parts needed being delivered late. Our house was actually the first stop this morning. Not sure how that happened, but thankful I did not have to sit around wondering when it would be my appointment time. Today's technician was a different gentleman then last time. William (Bill, Billy) was profession, kind and respectful. He was Labrador approved prior to entering the house. Bill had our new ice maker and holding container up and running within minutes. Very happy with my service today. I will state as in previous review that Sears needs to return to there former way of scheduling and offer morning or afternoon appointments. 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. is way to broad! Unless you are retired or work from home.

After 4 months of trying to get Sears to take care of our issue parts were ordered originally then they would not schedule anyone to come out because one of the parts didn't come in I addressed this with the person on the phone but nothing was done. Finally after 4 months they sent Hector out who came out and ordered more parts for the refrigerator to compensate for the door that did not come. Now that the service call has been taken care of the refrigerator is working properly however I have lost 4 months of my warranty due to the unprofessionalism and lack of communication skills of the people that I have been talking to from the Sears phone center. Each time I called I kept on getting a roundabout answer because they were reading from a script they had no idea what I was saying. I am very disappointed with the main part of this service agreement. I was informed from the person on the other end that my refrigerator was going to be replaced and that was 2 months before they finally sent someone out to replace the parts that had been here for 2 months I had asked them to do this prior but they refused to because they said we didn't have all the parts. I had been told that all the parts were not able to be gotten because the door had been discontinued and I would be in contact with somebody to replace my refrigerator if they did not have the authorization to do that they should not have done that and I am extremely upset. I am glad however that when Hector finally was able to come out due to the persistence of myself not anything to do with Sears that as of right now my refrigerator is working again.
