Got two techs that barely knew anything about HVAC...or spoke English. Sears ghosted me for the 1st appointment and was hours late for an appointment one week later. They stood around talking on their phone...to a more knowledgeable tech? 45 minutes later they took a guess at the issue and left not repairing anything. Another company found the issue within 5 minutes that was VERY obvious when shown to me. I recommend you look elsewhere.

This is a review to the sear as company. Not for the technician. How do you think the repair can cost more than the refrigerador itself. I believe there is something wrong in the way you are doing business. This is my 3rd tine i paid for the diagnosis and the quote is higher than go and buy the appliance.

Although the Sears repair techs are very nice, customer service is NON-EXISTENT. I’ve been told there are no longer tech managers. Everything is done through AI and the techs don’t even have any means of escalating a problem. I am waiting to see if this last repair works (4th in 9 months for the same problem) and then I will be canceling this contract.

This was the fourth time for a tec to show up. My appointments were cancelled in the afternoon of the day in which they were scheduled. Since they give you a window of 8 - 5 I was left sitting and waiting for half a day before being notified they were cancelling. Nothing was done except he flipped the breaker on and off. Outside unit was not uncovered to check anything. Spent more time sitting in his truck before he left ( 15 plus minutes) Not at all pleased.

I scheduled a repair to my Four (4) months GE washer with Sears online, very easy and simple process. I immediately received an email and text with my appointment. The terms of the repair as stated in the email as follows “ Diagnostic Fee: $129.00 The diagnostic fee is the cost to have a tech come to your home and provide an estimate. If you choose to proceed with the repair, we’ll waive the diagnostic fee and you’ll pay for the labor and parts. If you decide to decline the repair, you’ll only pay the diagnostic fee. If you have had a related repair within 30 days, the diagnostic fee will be waived and our 30 day guarantee will apply.” Technician John called the morning of the appointment to ask he can come before 12 noon, as he had a busy day and he needs to out of my area. I facilitate, however Technician John texted as follows “ Good morning , This is John from sears, for the repair of the washer. Please confirm the appointment , and the charges for today. There is a $129 trip charge, plus parts and labor for today, which I will be collecting. Looking forward to your response. Thank you“ I responded to the text indicating the email stated differently but did not get a response. Technician John arrived around 11:45am, found the water hose connection to be loose and tighten to fix the washer issue. Technician John then advised I needed to pay $129 as the trip fee plus $50 to fix the problem. I referred Technician John to Sears email only to be told that he would loosen the water hose and I would only be required to pay the trip fee of $129. I objected and queried the difference in the prices as the Sears terms was different and I wanted clarity as I wanted to repair my washer issue not just to diagnose the issue. Technician John stated he had a busy day was not willing to discuss further and just wanted to be paid. Technician John rushed for me to accept a call from the payment center for $129. Due to Technician John rude behavior I accepted the call and made the payment of $129 but I am not sure if the issue of my washer has been resolved. I am a very disappointed

The technician made my problem worse and then would not acknowledge that it was worse. He kept talking in circles about the original issue as if I wouldn’t understand or perhaps he didn’t understand. Additionally, he told me a part needed to be re-ordered and I needed to sign for it. After he left my residence I received a receipt indicating what I ACTUALLY signed was a waiver for damages to my floor from him moving my refrigerator. This gentleman was not only unable to resolve my issue and clearly articulate the problem but he also lacks integrity.

2 1/2 weeks and still no air conditioning. Was lied to by scheduler when canceled my 2 week appointment because they didn’t have parts. Technician confirmed parts availability at 1 week appointment and again at 2 1/2 week appointment. Technician not able to do advanced diagnosis or repairs after simple parts replaced. Waiting on new appointment likely 3+ weeks out for original report of unit failure.
