My tech, Mike W., was the worst. He took one look at my dryer and knew he did not want to move it, so he said he couldn't do anything since it was running. He left and then said I was not home at 7:17 am. I later received an emailed copy of a receipt I did not sign, which is identity theft. He claimed he installed parts that he did not. I guess he forgot he said I did not answer the door.

They fixed my washer in about a half hour for nearly the amount it would cost to buy a new one and pushed a year long service contract on me to try to get the price down but this would have only extracted more money out of me and provided less value. The only other option was to pay the $129 diagnostic fee and walk away with nothing. Felt like a shake down. It was a common repair item and I knew it was an easy fix. If I had any idea they would charge that much I wouldn't have booked this appointment.

When I made the reservation for service I was told it was $50 to clean my dryer. I was just charged $80. I was also charged $1 for a marketing service which I did not approve.

Sears came out to fix my Thor range which is under warranty. They came back with the wrong part and told me they would return in 10 days. It’s been over a month and now I’ve spent 2 hours on the phone with Thor and Sears and still don’t have a return date for this job. We can’t cook for 2+ months now!

I used thier online system, had a "confirmed " same day appointment. I even received a text providing the name of the technician. After waiting all afternoon they were a no call, no show. How disappointing. I would have preferred waiting for another day to open up than this unprofessional lack of follow through.

Our technician, Andrew, was great.! Everything else about this experience was horrible! Extremely Poor automated communications. Delay after delay! The technician had our part in his truck for about a month! They never made him aware of where it goes.. No wonder Sears isn’t what they used to be

Mike did a great job. As for pricing, Mike was here for 30 minutes and replaced the igniter switch. Was charged $160.00 for the part and $319.00 for labor. Part online is around $23.00. That is 7x more for the part. I will never use Sears again.
