If I could give a negative rating number I would! My home warranty company contracted Sears Home Services to repair my HVAC and they could not fix it after 3 times out to my house!!! Now I’m at a loss as I already paid them for the first dispatch fee and still have no air conditioning! You can’t even talk to someone at their office to discuss the issue. The techs they sent out are nice enough but I really question their ability as “HVAC” technicians!!!

No fault of the technician. The entire process sucks and is a scam. Five days to be told that itmay be another 2 weeks or longer. I gave them the diagnosis, bad compressor, but they come out to tell you that and charge $129.00 without a replacement compressor. Utterly stupid and inconvenient and we lost HUNDREDS of dollars of meat, seafood and produce.

This was totally outrageous! The technician pushed 3 buttons on the microwave and the problem was fixed for $249.00!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Scam! Technician charged me before starting the repair on GE Washer. He was on the phone with someone who was telling him what to look for. He left without any diagnostics. Did not fill out diagnostics report and we have not heard from them, about 15 days now. Had to purchase a new machine. They are running a scam to defraud customers.

Sears is a terrible service provider they will say the fix your refrigerator and in 30 days when it breaks they will say they only give you a 30 day warranty. And tell you it’s going to cost you another $650.00 dollars to come and fix it again. It doesn’t make sense because if I had put another $300.00 with what sear charged to so call fix my refrigerator I could have purchased a brand new refrigerator. Now Im stuck with a refrigerator that is leaking water all over the food and the floor. I don’t know if it’s safe to eat the food that’s in the refrigerator !!!!!!!

I was charged 379.95 for a repair that took 20 min and for which I already had the replacement part. I was told that the $129 diagnostic fee would be deducted from the price of the repair if we went through Sears. According to your customer service when I inquired about the final cost, assuming the $379 was a mistake and the $129 fee had not in fact been deducted, they claimed that it had. That means the price of the 20 min repair was $500? That would be the equivalent of $2000 dollars per hour? Brain surgeons don’t charge that much. When I asked to be put through to a supervisor, I was told I could not speak to anyone about this. From the complete lack of transparency about pricing, the subsequent price gouging, and obvious lack of care and attention for customers and their concerns, I will never call sears for repairs again and will strongly discourage others from using these services in the future.

If Sears’ aim is to charge customers more than necessary, the mission was accomplished. First service call was 11/13. Tech did not open the dryer, just sssumrd he knew what was wrong and ordered parts. Parts came in a week, but next service wasn’t until 11/26 which was a no show. Scheduled an 11/27 Appt thru AI, which was a no show. On 11/29 a tech came and installed the new parts. Same failure occurred within 15 minutes. We made another appt which happened 12/2 where tech said another part was needed. Part was ordered and received in two days. Received AI txt to schedule appt for12/5. Tech arrived and installed part. He said the part he installed should have been the first one ordered because it is the one that usually fails. We spent nearly a month getting unnecessary parts replaced that we paid dearly for and we’re inconvenienced because the first tech did not do his job and properly diagnose the problem our experience was totally unsatisfactory and we are seeking reimbursement for the unnecessary charges incurred
