Sears advertises same day appointments. Sears cancelled two of my appointments. The day of my third appointment, I received text messages from Sears to update arrival time of the technician. Each update was wrong, so I called Sears. The man I spoke to told me that the text messages were AI generated and that the texts from Sears are not reliable. My Maytag washing machine had a F9E1 error code. This is a drain issue, according to google. When Jason arrived, he did not even touch the drain. He turned the power button off and on several times and told me that the machine was “fried” from a power surge and that it would be over $900 to repair. Terrible all the way around. I wasted three days, spent $129 to watch someone not even attempt to fix my broken appliance, and was also told I would hear from the Sears Resolution Dept, which I never did. False advertising and terrible service.

Arranged a Saturday morning repair appointment and was given a range of 8AM-5PM. Set an alarm for 7:30 and realized that I had a missed call at 7:20. Then I got an email at 7:40 saying that no one was home with an attached photo of my neighbor's door (with the wrong address clearly visible). The AI "helper" suggested that I call the tech, which I did every hour or so until 5PM. Nothing. I even sent a few texts, some of which were read, but never replied. I tried several ways to reach anyone, but it was completely unsuccessful. I'm going to try again with a local company next.

Technician never uploaded diagnosis, which caused 2-10 warranty to not fix my washer. Technician/sears were contacted numerous times. Diagnosis never submitted and my washer is still not fixed. Paid $100 service fee for nothing to be fixed or replaced!

Mike is fine he comes when he says he is coming and fixes the problem. Mike is not The issue if you have a warranty with Sears. DONOT take out a Sears warranty. It takes months to get a part. It is almost impossible to talk to a live person. They connect you to AI named Samantha, who just repeats the same message over and over. We had a brand new washer, that was used maybe 10 times and the whole motor board went out. It took 3 months to get the part and fix it. Horrible customer service. I had to contact Better Builders Bureau.

Very bad experience, I will not NOT recommend this company, they did not fixed my heater system just because there were same ice on my driveway and that is not acceptable at all to not fixing the problem, also there is a new born baby in the house and it has been almost 2 week since we put the service request, and also you guys Rent a Car to do the other “for real”. Enclosed see pictures of my driveway.

Biggest scam out there! After paying for a warranty plan for three years, I needed a dryer repair. They were a no-show for three scheduled appointments. When I asked for a refund of my $100 deductible after the third no-show, they refused. In response to this review I was given a phone number to call to have the problem resolved. Except the phone number just put me back into the same loop of non-service that I’ve been in for two weeks.

Stay away from Sears Home Services! They waste your time while you wait for them to show up, then reschedule for bad reasons without letting you know. I scheduled a dishwasher repair for today, under a warranty contract. We blocked off our day with the understanding that someone would show up. No one came. I contacted Sears to understand what happened. The 800 number sends you to an AI bot. I learned that appointment was rescheduled without our knowledge. I needed more details to understand that this was done correctly. The bot doesn't do that. They don't make it easy to get a human - maybe they're trying to avoid you? - but eventually I got though. The representative told me that they delayed our appointment because the necessary part wasn't here, when in fact it was here and I had even let them know it was here soon after I received it. Pretty bogus reason for a delay! At this point, I just want our dishwasher repaired so that we have clean dishes again. I sure hope they show up at the rescheduled time, but I have no faith that they will do this based on this experience!
