I was told that the compressor was broken on my 8 year old refrigerator and was quoted $1400 to repair it. I believe the tech and ordered a new fridge instead. Two days later I heard ice drop from the ice maker (which needs to be 15 degrees or colder to operate.). I checked the temp and it was at -8. Compressor not broken and now have a new refrigerator on the way.

Do NOT buy a Sears warranty. I’ve been trying to get my fridge & dishwasher fixed since April. It is now mid June. They ordered wrong parts, tell you things aren’t covered, don’t listeN, don’t completely fix anything -most unbelievable experience ever. I still don’t have a fully working dishwasher somehow now the disposal is broken when it was working fine before and was told there was some sort of tubing that was in the wrong place, but he wouldn’t touch it. He wouldn’t do this or that. And I was told I created all the problems! I must’ve unscrewed the panel under my dishwasher reached under an unscrewed a tube and that’s why it was leaking and I must’ve put knives in the dishwasher to break it even though you should be able to put knives in the dishwasher and also I don’t put my expensive knives in the dishwasher. Insanity. It was like I needed to do some sort of deep investigation and questioning to figure out what was going on when I just hired them to figure out what was going on. I’ve been waiting through numerous canceled appointments and they make you wait from 8 AM to 5 PM every day for them to maybe show up. I’ve had the seal to my freezer laying on my living room floor for almost 3 weeks before that they ordered the wrong part. They ordered the seal for the refrigerator so three appointments later and I still don’t have the seal all the food in my freezer went bad and I can’t use my freezer until these idiots come. Sears warranty used to be great, not anymore. Complete and utter waste of money. I’m gonna start from scratch and call appliance guy directly.

Mixed ratings. Jacob D is great he is a very thorough and professional technician. He deserves 5 stars ! The company deserves zero stars for customer communications. If you need to change an appointment or ask a question there is not any way to get a human to answer the phone it is all AI prompts which loop continually.

The only reason I gave 1 star is that I was unable to give 0 stars. Broken promises, three times rescheduled after “no shows”, no human accountability (chat bots only). My family worked for Sears years and I will NEVER use their services again. And after I posted my experience, Sears had the audacity to ask me to contact them. I guess it was too much trouble for Sears to reach out to the customer. I’ll let their actions speak for themselves.

We booked sears appliance repair for our dryer. They quoted us a time window of 8am to 5pm. My husband took the day off of work and they were a NO CALL NO SHOW. He tried to call multiple times to see what was going on. The AI customer service rep was not helpful at all. When we finally reached a live person, they said they’re would reach out to a technician and call us back to see what happened. We never received a call back. Please please please save yourself the headache and use anyone but sears. They will not show up to the appointment. Update: I called the phone number left in the reply to this review from sears. It did not lead me to any customer service representative I could share this experience with. It is useless. Like Sears appliance repair.

single handedly worst customer service ever. We had appointments and both days we had 8am then 1030, then 130 then no show. lost 2 days of work because of this. Go with local repair and stay away from them. Call centers repeat same mantra of either we do not have access to tech or tech says you are next stop How do we get text saying tech arriving about 8am and then go to no show twice. Horrible, Horrible Horrible. Deserve 0 stars

You need better communication on every visit. First importance,Technician needs to ring the doorbell to let the customer know that you have arrived at their Front door of their home. Also just as important as the first Importance. Is to pay very close attention to the time the customer says they’re going to be home . For example after 2:00 pm was put in the special Instructions for the technician but he arrived in the morning when I was still at work.. Following these instructions makes a difference in getting the services completed. Ignoring these Instructions means you don’t care if the customer gets the maintenance service completed at their home.This is neglect and pour customer service for me and sad because I have been a customer for over 15 years and never received such care less service from a Sears Technician.I pay for this service, it is not free and I would like to get my moneys worth for the technicians complying to rendering good customer service. This does not deserve even a one star, but they don’t allow me to post ithis message without any star.
