The Sears repairman was very efficient, friendly, and timely. I can’t speak highly enough for the service professional’s work, as it was perfect. If I could rate the process of calling Sears for corrections to my repair service, however, I would give that a zero out of five stars. Attempting to call Sears to make a change resulted in them trying to sell me a life alert system, which was completely ridiculous! Because of that, I may cancel my warranty membership altogether, as it is absolutely absurd to be confronted with a sales pitch (that, I should add, the woman would not deviate from even when told no repeatedly) from a legitimate business. Their technicians do a wonderful job, and it would be a shame if I have to cancel my service membership, but it is important to be able to reach Sears at times, and if that is impossible, I may have to do so.

The day he was supposed to come, I received a message, due to unforeseen circumstances , the technician couldn't make it. Their window is ridiculous , from 8:00-5:00. While the tech was pleasant I purchased the maintenance plan because I was told they would be changing out filters when they came to make sure everything was in good working condition. At prior maintenance they did but when this tech came he said he didn’t have them and wouldn’t be changing them.

The repair man was a nice and courteous individual but was unable to figure out why my washing machine keeps leaking out water. In addition, even though my washing machine was not fixed, I still was charged a deductible.

The technician was excellent, but the overall experience was terrible. I must have received no less than 20 automated text messages leading up to my appointment, even after I confirmed it up front. Then the window of ETA was 8am-5pm, which is literally the entire day!!! I was only provided a more definitive time frame the date of the schedule repair. Last, I declined completion of the repair because it would have cost me "half" of purchasing a brand-new range.
