He did a good job of fixing the equipment but maybe show up on time for the repair. Especially when Sears offers a map of the technicians location. I could see the GPS located my technician at a state park near for an hour at the proposed ETA time, when I was next stop.

Sears customer service and app very efficient and helpful. Service technician looked at my washer for about 1 minute and then shouted out to me, “$916 to fix it”. I said,” what is wrong with it?” He said that the control panel is burnt out. I told him that I heard a very loud clunk when it stopped working and felt it might be a problem in the drum which he hadn’t even looked at yet. So, he opened the back and said, “ Oh yeah, I see something”. Then he tried the control panel which seems to be functioning but the washer cycle doesn’t start. He asked what I was washing when I heard the noise and I told him I was washing a small bathroom rug ( this is a super heavy duty washer), and he told me I should never do that! We are a family of six, and I wash comforters and small bathroom rugs, and such all the time which is why I bought a super heavy duty capacity washer. Bottom line is he never told me what was wrong with the washer and I paid $99 service charge to get no answers. Our washer is 7 years old so we decided to bite the bullet and get a new one, never knowing what is wrong with our existing washer though. Quite unprofessional and disappointing!

Came first time said he needed to order parts ..parts cam in 2 days but he scheduled a return in 2 weeks . The day of return he was an no show ..no call. Later that night AI schedules for another week. Attempted to call multiple time but sears doesn’t have reps to talk to ..only AI. I CALLED A SERVICE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY . THEY WERE OUT TGE NEXT DAY AND FIXED TGE PROBLEM. DO NOT USE SEARS HOME SERVICE. WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

We were apprised of this appt from Sears Appliance Repair by text late on the day before even though Frigidaire told us we'd get a call 3 days ahead to check on scheduling. BYW we're on our 80's so phone call is crucial as not glued to a cell phone all the time. I was unable to cancel through Sears so I called Frigidaire who told me they cancelled it. We both had Dr appts that day and a window of 8a.m. to 5p.m. is ridiculous. I'd like to know how they ,Richard ,?, got a signature from one of us which is a scribbled illegible 2 letters since we were not home when Richard allegedly came to our house. There was no service done. We were charged $160 but no one was home. In order to get this posted I have to answer questions that don't give me an option to say no service. I'll check what we were charged even though still under warranty and nothing was fixed.

No help at all waste of money . Just said there is a recall on year and half old washing machine control panel. Said would fix for over 700. dollars.

Technician was incredibly late in the day after my service was moved up because there were extra appointments on the day of. I sat home all day until almost 4pm. The tech was scheduled to come at 2:22pm. The message said I would be notified if he was late. I was not. I was called when he was on the way. He did not look at my washer aside from running water and asking if it showed a code. When I informed him it did he did not look at the pump to see if it was clogged he proceeded to write me an estimate for more than the cost of the machine. He was in my home for less than 10 minutes. This was the worst communication and biggest rip off ever. 10/10 would not recommend.

My issue is with Sears. Not the service tech. My refrigerator was covered under master protection agreement. Fridge issue was intermittent and didn’t manifest during tech visit. Tech suggested I take a video recording when issue happened which I did. Now I am unable to schedule service under the protection agreement which has since e outed even though corporate extended after I contacted BBB and Atty General. The issue with the fridge was never resolved and there’s no way to speak to a person with Sears.

Mike the technician is great. However the service itself is terrible. They kept canceling the appointment 7 times in total. Sometimes even on the day of appointments. I will be canceling this service soon. No pont if it takes over 2 months to repair a stove.

Worst service I have experienced in 50 years. Made the appointment for my dishwasher to be repaired first thing in the morning when they opened and was given an 8-5 window. After receiving an email (screenshot attached below) assigning a specific technician and a shorter 1 hour time window for arrival, the technician never showed. When I called 15 minutes after the end of this arrival window, the service center told me the appointment never existed, but we had an appointment and assured me the technician would be there before 5. Further I was told I would receive a call and an email shortly updating the status of my appointment. Said call never came but an hour afterwards I received a text saying my appointment was cancelled. When I called to the service center, they stated that message was never sent and assured me my appointment was still valid that the tech would call me within a couple of minutes to give me an updated status and arrival estimate. I was on the phone 5 times total and never got a technician. Worst repair center ever - no plan no person that can actually solve a problem and they will never let you talk to a manager when requested. Never use them.
