After the fact, it was obvious that the dispatcher and I did not effectively communicate. The problem was that my gas stove with electric ignition would not light. The gas came on but would not ignite. The tech who came out news nothing about electricity except where to plug a cord in. He pronounced my stove ok and charged me $84.99 diagnostic fee. He suggested I call an electrician. Pleasant guy, but the wrong guy.

The three repairman that came to out house,to fix our four year old frig were fine but it took six weeks to finally get it fixed, which was insane. I will never buy another Sears appliance again.

So far they have been out 3 times to fix my fridge and it still is not fixed....Ice maker still not working and temp it still at 47 degrees...and a 15 day wait to get someone out to look at....not acceptable. They come work on it....say it's fixed and go shopping to stock up....again....and it all goes bad....Being without a fridge for over a month is getting a bit ridiculous.

AWEFUL EXPERIENCE, WAY OVERPRICED, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I would NEVER use Sears for repair of any appliance ever again. The 1st technician that came out did not remove the microwave from the wall, just diagnosed the problem and put an order in for the part which we paid for at that time. Sears sent the wrong part, some part for a dishwasher, not even close!! So when a new technician came out the 2nd time we had an incorrect part so he found the correct part locally had it courriered to the house then came back over late that afternoon. Well when he took microwave down this was not the problem so we had to then reorder a bunch new parts and have them couriered over a few days later. He offered to come back a few days later, but Sears tried to make me reschedule a new appointment which the earliest they had was 3 weeks later. I had already waited a month for this 1st appointment!!! I lost faith, but the technician, Spencer, came through and came over at 7pm on a Friday night to fix the problem appropriately. Customer Service were a bunch of voiced over idiots!!! No care in the world about making a customer satisfied. The only good thing about any of this entire experience was Spencer, the extremely knowledgeable and dedicated technician. I hope for Sears sake they don't lose him, because that is all they have going for them, In the end the cost was 1/2 of what a brand new same type microwave would have cost and with all this hassel with wrong part, misdiagnosis, taking 2 days off work to get this done, etc. I would have just bought a new microwave. You should be embarassed Sears!!! What an aweful experience!!! Thank you, Spencer, technician ID #2550!!

My AC unit quit working during the hottest months of the year at the end of June. Sears didn't schedule me for a repair until July 19th. Then they cancelled and rescheduled it until August 6th. By the time the overweight Latino repairman showed up, it had started to cool off. Then he acted like he was doing me a major favor to even touch it. Although I have spent $1,000 for a combo washer dryer, and about $1,200 for a replacement, and $800 for a stove at Sears, I am definitely looking in other places to replace my dish washer and I'm definitely not wasting any more money on a Sears warranty.

Did not show up for first service call at all. Warranty company extremely bad. Overall experience with Sears was horrible. Definitely do not recommend Sears at all.

What a joke of an experience. The guy showed up and took a look at my washer dryer unit and said it needed a new power cord and he didn’t do that. Ok. But then he looked at me with a straight face and said “that’ll be $99 bucks.” Turns out the power cord wasn’t even the problem!

I'm trying to schedule a second appointment after the first tech said nothing was wrong and now our refrigerator is at 58 degrees again two weeks later. They direct you make an appointment online and then, after filling out all of the information, the appointment you select (which is at least 4 days out) "cannot be scheduled online." This happens for all of the available appointments. So I am now scheduling through chat and the next appointment is TWO WEEKS OUT! The company needs to hire more technicians. And fix the online scheduler. It is useless. I'd be calling someone else if I didn't already pay them $99 to tell me it isn't broken.

Sears is the WORST. No-show today on freezer repair. Hours and hours spent on hold trying to get information about when tech will show up. Then they auto-rescheduled the appointment for 14 days from now, without even asking me! They sent a text. Gee thanks. With a freezer that doesn't work. Last time on our stove repair it took SEVEN times for them to fix it. That is 35 hours, almost ONE WEEK of my time, of waiting during each 5 hour window that they require for their service window. BBB here I come.
