Took them almost 1 month to come out always they always cancel or come up with something. And when they came took them 10min to find the part they needed now I have to wait almost another 2 weeks.

My refrigerator is out, and it took them 8 days to get here. I learned that the problem was well-known to Sears/LG (defective compressor, has failed for numerous customers), yet they didn't bring the parts, and the next available appointment was 16 DAYS out (that date is still 5 days away, as of this writing!!!). After reading about this online, I decided to replace the refrigerator (a different brand from another vendor) rather than have them put the same defective compressor in, which would be likely to fail again according to several sources.

Still waiting for our refrigerator to be diagnosed by Sears. We purchased the applicance from Sears and are still within the warranty period for what will be a compressor issue on a Kenmore Elite (made by LG) refrigerator. So, we obviously need to use Sears to diagnose and repair in order to fall within the manufacturer's warranty. After Sears canceled our appointments on two occasions during the month of March we tried a third time. Should have been here today at 4:16PM, and instead the technician called to say he got held up on a bigger job (I get it), and the rescheduled date to come and diagnose will be May 1st! That's another 11 days from now - really?! When do we become the priority in rescheduling? Seems like some other customer should have to get pushed out to accommodate us, who basically got stood up today.

NEVER LET YOUR SERVICE CONTRACT EXPIRE! Up until today I had given sears high marks, not now. An error on my husband and my part, allowing the contract to lapse, has left us open for highway robbery. The cost of a new service contract is more than a new washing machine. I am NOT kidding. Excellent service! Vlad is a super repair-dude. The repair to my washer required a second visit as parts needed to be ordered. They arrived between the first and second visit and so were here when Vlad came. Unbelievable! He actually hung around and ran my washer through a cycle to see if the problem was fixed! The only hiccup was he was so busy it took almost 2 weeks to schedule him to come back, come to think of it, it did take almost 2 weeks to get him here in the first place, but that was the only down-side. Great job!

They indicated it would cost $99 to come out and diagnose the leak in my dishwasher. I he already worked out where the leak was coming from. He said “thanks that saves me some work finding out where the leak is” and worked out what it would cost to repair (over $500). I declined to have him fix it. The $99 then increased to $131 as he declared he had to charge to generate the quote. His credit card reader had died so he called the credit card company to make the charge. Now I am receiving demands for payment from Sears Home Services that you have to paper mail in a dispute. The demand is quite clear that they will refer to collections if not paid within 95 days of the first invoice. We mailed a formal dispute with a copy of the charge on the credit card. We just received the second demand. I would never buy a Sears appliance again. I would never use Sears Home Services again.
