Never showed up and wrote a false report
I waited all day for the technician to show to repair my washer again after less than a month. I tracked his progress on the web site and after it showed I was next and a time was shown, I waited and then the web site said he was at my house. He didn't show up and then I received a report of his visit but it was for a completely different washing machine with a report that it could not be fixed and should be replaced. I understand that he didn't want to do a recall, but since he was in the area I would have appreciated it if he had stopped in and discussed the issue with me. I only gave him a 2 instead of a 1 because of his previous visit, which I thought was good

Hot water heater inspection.
The serviceman did his work very well and came on time. Your "Sears" business is in very bad condition. The replacement refrigerator you delivered last October is very BAD quality and your Customer Service was equally as bad.

Deflection
We had this problem with this washing machine staining expensive sheets for months. We cleaned up multiple times examining the gasket that everything we could. This guy comes in and tells me it needs to be cleaned. Are you kidding me? Obviously you are the company he works for don't want to have to repair or replace this washer under warranty.

AVOID Sears Home Services
This is the fourth time we have scheduled with Sears Home Services to come fix our dryer. The first time the technician came and cleaned the lint filter and said it's all set and left, though he did not fix the problem. The second time Sears called us 2 hours into our scheduled 4 hour appointment window and said the technician was sick. The third time the technician said they knocked on our door but they did not come to our house nor even our street. And this, the fourth attempt over the course of now 8 weeks, the technician did not show up, and yet here they are asking for a review even though no one came to our house to do the work they were scheduled to do. In addition, I see a fake signature on a work order that they submitted for payment. Due to the fake work order and FAKE SIGNATURE, I have to assume that someone is scamming someone else at this point. This is the current state of Sears Home Services, so while it is sad that Sears has gotten to this point, it's in everyone's best interest to avoid them and their services.

Machine worked before he came, did not work after
Tech came to do diagnostic for washer making noise during spin cycle. He did a "diagnostic" testing on the panel display. The washer stopped working. It would at least work before, but was noisy. After he touched it, the drum would only rotate, wouldn't fill with water or advance through the cycle. Instead of getting a repair, I now have to replace the washer. Paid the "diagnostic fee" even though nothing was diagnosed or repaired. Not happy. He was a nice enough guy, but I really got nothing for the fee I paid.
