The technician was kind and quick. The main office screwed up on the paperwork by not knowing that we have a warranty. Even though I showed that we did. That delay caused us to put off other important things going on in our life.

The appointment was scheduled for 8-12 and they did not get there until 2! and were finished around 5. I like the insurance sears has on the washing machine but there service stinks.

The service technician investigated the problem and concluded that the noise made by the fan was a result of fan blades scraping the frost formed. He said that it happens from time to time and the noise would go away. Two days later, the noise stared to come back and I am going to make another service appointment. I am not saying that the first guy was wrong but just like to get a second opnion.

The technicians are excellent at diagnosing the refrigerator's malfunction and can make any repair that is needed. Unfortunately the system is controlled by an Artificial Intelligence that maintains a strict 2 week waiting period between each stage of the repair. There can be many different stages to the repair. If a part is needed and isn't delivered within a timeframe that is acceptable to the AI, it reschedules the technicians appointment for 2 weeks later without any warning. For some reason we encountered several "2 week" issues that allowed the AI to extend our encounter with Sears Appliance Repair to almost 2 1/2 months. Next time I'll just buy a new refrigerator!

The repair was fine, but the part that was replaced is involved in a class action lawsuit. The LG linear compressor does not have a good rating and is said to last only about only three years or less, that is the reason for the lawsuit. Our refrigerator is the Kenmore Elite three door, made by LG, it lasted 3 years 8 months when the compressor quit. My concern is that we can't trust this compressor to last. I'm requesting Sears look into a compressor, to replace the LG which is rated poorly and doesn't last. We really like the refrigerator except for the problem with the LG's compressor, hopefully Sear's can alleviate that problem. What I understand is that LG hasn't taken any action to fix their compressor problem and is facing a class action Lawsuit. Please notify me if you know if there is any action to alleviate the LG linear compressor problem and find a replacement for the LG linear compressor that will last and can be trusted. it took over 2 hrs. on phone and 4 different persons to finally get to a man in the u/s to get appointment, the first woman was giving us a appointment 2 months away/finally got a appointment next day-tech was great- problem fixed

It took over 3 months for my dishwasher to be repaired which was very stressful on me. I waited and waited, I had appointments set up and waited all day for the servicemen to arrive and they would not show up, no call, no new appointments. I had to call numerous times to set up appointments and notify that parts had been delivered. They finally repaired it like I said after 3 months where I had to wash dishes by hand.
