Not very friendly,left a mess. Not sure the dryer works
Jose did not seem very happy to be here. He cleaned up a little bit but left a large mess in the dryer area. Wallet appears he fixed part of the problem. The dryer still squeaks when it starts. I'm concerned that the problem will continue.

questions about service
our Kenmore washing machine was not agitate the clothes, it would just make a clicking noise. The service man replaced the actuator, shift then started the machine and it started making the same clicking noise. He then unplugged the power cord, waited a couple off minuets then started the machine and it worked normal. So, my question is could he just have unplugged the machine to start with and we didn't need the part.

Refrigerator, Clothes Washer & Dryer maintenance/repair
On the first day he arrived when expected. He worked on the fridge & ordered 2 parts. I suggested he work on the washer & dryer concurrently in case he needed parts for each machine, but he said Sears didn't permit him to have more than one work order open at a time. He worked on the washing machine & had to drive to get a part. He worked on the dryer & had to drive to get a part. He finished both the washer & dryer & left. Checking my email I discovered that the two parts were being shipped separately & would be arriving while we were away on vacation. One part was a UPS-only shipment & I got the part delivered to a nearby UPS store. I had to go there to pick up the part. The other part was transported by UPS but delivered by USPS & I could NOT make any change to the delivery. I arranged for a neighbor to get the box. All repair parts should be delivered directly to the technician or to a local Sears depot NOT to the customer. The second visit was extremely inconvenient. He was scheduled to arrive around 2pm (1pm - 5pm request). When I checked the web site much later than 2pm it still showed a 2pm arrival. I eventually called the Sears Home Services 800 number & the automated system claimed my appointment was in the past. I called again & spoke to a person who took some action. He FINALLY arrived around 6pm & said he had trouble with his truck & had to get it fixed. EITHER HE OR THE DISPATCHER SHOULD HAVE INFORMED US OF THE DELAY AS SOON AS HE DISCOVERED TRUCK PROBLEM & TOLD US A REVISED ARRIVAL ESTIMATE so we would not have been waiting needlessly the entire afternoon. Part way through the refrigerator repair -- with the entire freezer contents on our counter & refrigerator unplugged -- he said he needed to get a copper wire. I thought he was getting it from his truck. When I looked outside his truck was gone! When he finally finished he did NOT vacuum the coils in the front or the equipment in the back like the Sears tech did a while ago. He left all old parts.

Not Familiar with Frigidaire Refrigerators
Eric is a nice enough guy but not trained on Frigidaire refrigerators which was the whole point on calling and providing make, model and serial number. After speaking with another technician the diagnosis was verbal without testing the suspected part. I have no faith in what they said

Sears Repair Technician
Technician was a no show two appointments in a row. The technician didn't even have the courtesy to call me today. 31 December 2025 to let me know he wasn't comi g. I've been with Sears maintenance program for more than 25 yrs and I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I have been today and on 27 December 2025. On that date 27 December 2025 the technician was a no show. This is totally unacceptable and for what I pay in fees for the maintenance contract, I am so disappointed

Not sure what this means.
There was no service provided. He could not pull the machine out to provide an accurate estimate. First without opening the machine or run diagnostic he said the cost is around $800 and that he can not deduct the $129 service fee which is promised. I asked may be is the sensor. Then he gave another estimate and still said he can not deduct the $129 service fee which is clearly stated where I order. Someone needs to follow the whole process. He was not able to open the machine. There are more nightmares from this service.

Disappointed
After three appointments and three rescheduled appointments, our washer is now working. We have left over new parts that are shown on our receipt for the repair as installed. They were not. We have them here. The service tech also told us that since there is now rust inside the machine, that it will no longer be covered. Really? It leaked because of a part(s), not because of any anything we did.

Not good
Had to wait 2 full weeks though I got the part needed the next day. I was supposed to have a morning appointment. At 11:45 he assured me would be there between 1-2pm. At 2:45 he told me they needed to reschedule for the following morning. I had paid someone to be there all day - so this now cost me significant money. He shows up the next day, leaves, and it immediately breaks again. Can't get anyone on the phone.

Terrible
Will never call Sears again for service if any appliance. He showed up with earring in his face and then instead of doing a simple fix on my water/detergent dispenser he took my entire washer apart, handed me screws that were "extra" and my washer is now broken and I need to buy a new one.
