The Sears technician who came to repair my refrigerator started off strong. He quickly resolved a billing issue related to my warranty and made sure I wasn't wrongly charged. He was also polite and respectful throughout the visit. However, I had two serious concerns that affected my overall experience. First, I was asked to sign paperwork without any explanation of what I was agreeing to. I later discovered that one of the forms was a waiver releasing both the technician and the company from liability in the event of damage. I believe it's only fair that customers are clearly informed about what they're signing, especially when it involves legal responsibility. Second, and more importantly, the technician released the old Freon directly into my home instead of recovering it properly. I didn't question it at the time because I was concerned that raising the issue might result in having to reschedule with another tech. With my refrigerator down and food at risk, I just wanted the work completed. Afterward, I immediately opened windows and turned on fans to ventilate the area and protect my family. When I asked about the old compressor, I was told to just leave it on the lawn and that someone would eventually come by to collect it. That response felt unprofessional and left me uncertain about the proper method of disposal. In short, while the technician was courteous and completed the job, the lack of communication and unsafe handling of refrigerant make it hard to recommend this service without serious improvements in transparency and environmental safety. This is the first time I've ever had a technician leave me with serious concerns about their professional judgment and ability, which is disappointing and unsettling.

The tech did not trouble shoot the ice maker problem. He just assumed it was all the ice maker parts in the freezer door. He ordered a bunch of parts, returned t replace them and it is still not working. So now i have to make another appointment for the repair.

He was at the house and diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes but the price was outrageous. $350 to change a fuse. Will not use this service again.

Not sure since it was a different technician this time but lack of communication between service technician let us without a diagnosis to the original problem. Tech was definitely knowledgeable on the task but couldn't give us any information as to what was originally wrong. Wasted a Saturday and still not fixed. We have NOT a real size running refrigerator for over a month!

Jesus did a nice job. Problem is we got the wrong part delivered. The new part works ok but the "on/off" switch does not line up with the opening in the cover making it necessary to remove the cover to turn it on or off.

We are not convinced that the refrigerator is fixed. Time will tell. And the explanation of why the ice maker wasn't working didn't make sense. We have already been unable to use refrigerator/ice maker for over a week and now supposedly it will take another 24-48 hours before we can use the refrigerator.
