The technician was polite, informative, and hard-working. Only drawback: My diagnostic appointment was originally scheduled between 10:00 and 2:00 p.m. but the overworked technician arrived at 4:30.

The technician was very thorough and got the refrigerator repaired quickly. Because we didn’t have the part to replace for the dishwasher, he showed me what to do once I get the part. I was very impressed with his skills and his concern for me, the customer.

It took 5 visits, 2 no shows, and 4 different techs to fix my Kitchenaid refrigerator ice maker from Feb thru May. The AI scheduling system is inadequate + sometimes fails to schedule or confirm; it can't schedule a return appmt on the same work order, so to book the return the client has to agree to the $139 visit fee each time (which the tech can delete @ the visit). After years of relying on Sears repair, I will not be using them again.

Repair estimate was more than I paid for washing machine new at best buy. The technician was very professional and troubleshot the thing perfectly. The cost of the labor and part exceeded the retail value of the unit brand new. No one would have opted for that repair. So I would have to conclude that the service is overpriced. The brand is not ideal either. I will not be purchasing this brand again. it's the Laundromat for me for a while. :(

I waited a month for a repair appointment for an appliance with Sears -- I tried to get a human multiple times to see if there were other options available but was unable to get past a bot on the phone. After several tries, I just decided to wait for the appointment. The day of the appointment, they simply do not show -- despite me receiving several confirmations via email and text in the days leading up to the appointment. Their website only offers to rebook me two more weeks out -- after waiting for a month for the first appointment. No human communication or apology. Would avoid hiring this company like the plague. **following up on their comment - the response could not be more generic. If they actually wanted to help, they would reach out to me directly, but I’m sure this is par for the course for their company.
