John was excellent and very professional. He was able to repair both broken spring hinges. Unfortunately, our countertop was damaged though.

It took 5 visits, 2 no shows, and 4 different techs to fix my Kitchenaid refrigerator ice maker from Feb thru May. The AI scheduling system is inadequate + sometimes fails to schedule or confirm; it can't schedule a return appmt on the same work order, so to book the return the client has to agree to the $139 visit fee each time (which the tech can delete @ the visit). After years of relying on Sears repair, I will not be using them again.

Repair estimate was more than I paid for washing machine new at best buy. The technician was very professional and troubleshot the thing perfectly. The cost of the labor and part exceeded the retail value of the unit brand new. No one would have opted for that repair. So I would have to conclude that the service is overpriced. The brand is not ideal either. I will not be purchasing this brand again. it's the Laundromat for me for a while. :(

I waited a month for a repair appointment for an appliance with Sears -- I tried to get a human multiple times to see if there were other options available but was unable to get past a bot on the phone. After several tries, I just decided to wait for the appointment. The day of the appointment, they simply do not show -- despite me receiving several confirmations via email and text in the days leading up to the appointment. Their website only offers to rebook me two more weeks out -- after waiting for a month for the first appointment. No human communication or apology. Would avoid hiring this company like the plague. **following up on their comment - the response could not be more generic. If they actually wanted to help, they would reach out to me directly, but I’m sure this is par for the course for their company.

My landlord pays for an annual contract that, ALLEGEDLY, guarantees better repair service. When we needed a simple dishwasher repair, the earliest available appointment was about 4 weeks out. (A long time to wait for a repair!) On the day of the appointment, they cancelled at the last minute. Made an appointment for one week later. On the day of THAT appointment, they cancelled last minute AGAIN!! We have since scheduled a repair with a different company, and I have recommended that she cancel her contract. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not use Sears.

Since there's no zero stars i give one star. They always cancel the appointments at the last minute or they no call no show. That's started since December 30 2024, they finally show up today March 19 2025, and still unable to fix my appliance.

What a joke. Two no call no shows, third appointment was an hour late and no parts to fix our washer. Avoid Sears Home Services like the plague. Also, this was the vendor that Best Buy, where we bought the washer, scheduled to do the repairs. My wife has used over $1000 of her vacation time to be available for the appointments, cumulatively we have spent nearly 40 hours on the phone with Best Buy and sears and still don’t have a working machine.

The technicians are professional, nice and knowledgeable. However, whoever is responsible for scheduling is completely incompetent. For 3 out of 4 appointments to try and get my stove fixed, the technician showed up hours AFTER the designated time range. I was given an 8am to 12pm range for every appointment, and they showed up at 3pm, 2:15pm and then 1:06pm respectively. And the fourth appointment for today was just randomly rescheduled via automated text for 19 days from now. There is no way to get ahold of a real person through the three different phone numbers I have. All this headache and wasted time and still no functional stove since mid-September.
