I cleaned and vacuumed the oven compartment and pull-out drawer before the technician arrived. When Peter arrived, he found the oven to be fully operational. As I was vacuuming the area underneath the oven bottom plate, I apparently wiggled the igniter push-on connector enough to make the oven work again. Peter explained all my options and the advantages of signing up for the Sears Protect Home Warranty plan. I had been thinking about getting this plan for many years. Peter gave me some examples of how it could save me money today and in the case of a hard failure that could cost me hundreds or thousands of dollars to repair. Peter was honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
