Peter came to repair both our washer and downdraft vent in the kitchen. The part for the vent had not come yet so Peter rescheduled the vent appointment. On the other hand, 4 sets (16 rods) of the washer drum were shipped to my house in 1 box; each set had 4 rods so we ended up with too many. Peter took the remaining 3 sets (12 rods) back to Sears. He was pleasant and helpful. I only wished he were a little more careful with the old rods, which left black/pink grease on our flat-painted wall that couldn't be removed.

The repairman did a great job. However, the Sears text message estimating his arrival time stated he would be arriving between 1:40-3:40AM PDT instead of the 8-12AM PDT timeframe I was told on the phone by the Customer Service call center. I then had to call Customer Service to find out what the problem was with the texted middle-of-the-night arrival time. I had to wait on hold for 35 minutes to get through to Sears Customer Service. What a nightmare and total disruption of my day! Sears absolutely has to get with the call center technology program like all other C-B businesses offering a CALL BACK option if customers have to call Customer Service and you're in the queue for your call. Keeping customers on hold for over 30 minutes indicates Sears is woefully way behind in call center Customer Service technology.

I Will Rate our Tech a 10 out of 10 but as for Sears itself I’ll rate them a minus 10. No Cooperation from Sears Corporate whatsoever it took them 7 months to resolve our issues. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS AGAIN!!
