The service guy should exercise a bit of patience regarding payments, as there are times when we are unavailable to settle the bill immediately since we are not present. He should allow us some time, ideally 5-7 minutes, to finalize the payment.

Rudy did a fine job but the process is what I am VERY unhappy about. This has taken 14 days since I initially set up an appointment on 9/5/23. Today is 9/18/23 and my dryer finally got fixed. All of the phone numbers for your service does NOT allow you to talk to a live person. My original appt for the actual repair was postponed 2 times and eventually at a day/time that was inconvenient for me, my neighbor had to be at my house. I will hesitate to use your service ever again.

Armando arrived on time and did call to say he was on his way. When he got here I was on a business call so I asked him to give me 10 minutes to finish up. He was polite and agreed to wait which was great. When I let him in to do the service, he came in and checked the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. He said those were OK and that that was pretty much all there was to do in a maintenance call so he was in and out in about 5 minutes. This is the third year I have a maintenance checkup appointment for my refrigerator. Other service techs have pulled out the refrigerator a bit, checked that there is nothing like dirt, etc. blocking the condenser in the back. They have checked the ice making by emptying out the bin and waiting for the refrigerator to start making more and sometimes they have asked about the filter and how often I change it. My refrigerator is fine and I truly did not have my full focus on Armando asking questions and such. I just felt that it was a bit too fast to be a full service.

Bad communication.
This was the 3rd technician that had to come to repair my washer's door. It was mis-diagnosed the 1st time, 2 different parts had to be ordered so this had been going on for almost 3 weeks. Andy started by telling me he would have fixed it the first time and he has parts that the 1st 2 techs didn't. I had to take time off work to meet them and just needed it fixed & working. When he was done Andy just left without saying anything about what he did or letting me see that it was working. It's just polite to communicate with the customer.

The tech wasn't knowledgeable
Delonzio was kind and communicated well. However, he didn't seem to be an expert on the issue and had to make multiple phone calls to ask for help. Additionally, he kept blocking our neighbors' cars with the van and had to go downstairs to move the van 3 times which took him longer to inspect the unit. He said our neighbors weren't friendly because they were honking to get him move the van which they have every right to do so. When he went down the 3rd time, he parked the van in front of 2 garage doors and I told him he could park in an available spot that was nearby but he left the van there and said he was almost done. At the end issue wasn't resolved and after he left the A/C started making even a louder noise. If I had to work with Sears Home Services again, I'd prefer to work with someone who is more experienced and respects others' space. Thank you!

Disappointed
Service man was rude. I went to enter the kitchen to get something from under the sink. He was on his cellphone and said I needed to leave.
